• The New Age Outlaws defeated Mark Henry and D-Lo Brown (w/Ivory) via Countout.
- The New Age Outlaws did their ring introduction to a huge pop. As the match went on, Prince Albert and Droz ran in and started to attack D-Lo Brown. Mark Henry got involved, as the brawl spewed into the crowd, which resulted in Outlaws taking the victory via Countout. Afterward, Road Dogg told Mr. Ass he owed him apology. Mr. Ass called out X-Pac before doing so. Mr. Ass apologized to both RD and X-Pac. X-Pac said it all meant D-Generation X was there to stay. As X-Pac celebrated, Mr. Ass attacked him. RD tried to stop Mr. Ass, as Kane made his way out. Mr. Ass left to the locker room, while Kane chokeslammed RD, who was tending to X-Pac.

• Backstage, two limousines pulled up to the arena. It was The Corporate Ministry, as they made their way into the arena.

• Michael Cole made his way down to the ring, narrating a piece about the tradition of the World Wrestling Federation, which was based on the generations of The McMahon Family. It was pointed out that Shane swore on his grandfather that he would call the Backlash PPV Heavyweight Title match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. The latest happenings between The McMahon Family were then recapped.

• Backstage, Shane McMahon, along with Triple H, Rodney, Pete Gas, and Chyna, was upset that Michael Cole called the troubles between The McMahon Family a coincidence. Shane said The Corporate Ministry would show everyone a coincidence later in the show.

• Ken Shamrock and Test defeated The Acolytes by Shamrock's Ankle Lock.
- Test was dominated by The Acolytes. Ken Shamrock was tagged in and he then started to dominate. He strapped Faarooq in the Ankle Lock for the win. Afterward, The Corporate Ministry ran in and attacked Shamrock and Test. The Big Bossman then said on the microphone he would come down to the boiler room and take on Mankind. Shane questioned everyone, sarcastically, "Was that a coincidence?"

• Outside of the arena, The Big Show arrived.

• Backstage, The Big Bossman arrived in the boiler room. Mankind surprise attacked Bossman and destroyed him at first with a garbage can, ladders, mop, and more. Bossman then came on top of the brawl. An official was trying to stop it, but was unsuccessful. Bossman got into a golfcar. He tried to run over Mankind, but ended up going in a reverse direction. As Mankind attacked Bossman in the back of the gulfcar, The Corporate Ministry entered the boiler room and attacked Mankind. Shane McMahon locked the door, as the atatck continued. The Big Show tore the door off its hinges to come to the aid of Mankind. He ran off The Corporate Ministry.

• Big Show Interview.

- The Big Show called out The Undertaker. The Undertaker made his way out, with the rest of The Corporate Ministry surrounding the ring. Corporate Ministry members entered and outnumbered Big Show. The Undertaker told Big Show, as he was held back, that he (Undertaker) was the most powerful man in the WWF. Big Show had an angry look on his face, as The Corporate Ministry made their ways back to the locker room.

• Backstage, The Big Show threw things around and yelled out for The Undertaker. Meanwhile, Shane McMahon was shown on his celluar phone, calling the police on Big Show.

• Hardcore Holly and Al Snow went to a No-Contest.
- Hardcore Holly had Al Snow's head with him. Holly said he came to Sunday Night Heat, thinking he would get a Hardcore Title shot. He pointed out that that he had always given Hardcore Title matches to Snow, but their match later in the show was non-title for some reason. Snow appeared on the Titan Tron and said he couldn't issue a title shot, since Head was the one who pinned Holly at the Backlash PPV and became the Hardcore Champion. He said Holly owning Head just made things worse. He spoke to Head and said he was wasn't right without it. Snow said he had to carry a dear head instead of Head, which made things confusing. Snow then made his way out to Bob Holly's old "Sparky Plug" music, with the dear head on his lap. Snow rode his way to the ring on a toy race car, as the match was underway. Holly dominated Snow. The match was mainly on the outside of the ring, where Holly ended up using the toy race car on Snow. Holly walked out after telling Snow that he would only get Head back if he (Holly) received a Hardcore Title shot.

• Backstage, The Big Show continued to throw things around. He walked outside of the arena toward The Corporate Ministry's limousines, with a 2x4 in his hand. Big Show broke the windows with the 2x4. Police arrived. Shane McMahon told them to arrest Big Show. The handcuffs did not fit around the Big Shows hands, which were bleeding. As Big Show walked toward to the police car, he told Shane his ass was his the following night on Raw is War.

• Corporate Ministry Interview.
- The Corporate Ministry came out to new entrance music which was a mixed version of the original music of The Corporation and The Ministry of Darkness. Shane McMahon bragged about taking out Test, Ken Shamrock, Mankind, and The Big Show earlier in the night. Shane then brought matters to The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Shane announced The Rock would take on Triple H and Austin would take on The Undertaker for the Heavyweight Title with Shane McMahon as the Guest Referee at the Over The Edge PPV. The fans chanted, "Asshole." Shane then challenged his father, Vince, to a match for the following night's Raw is War show.
