The night
before Christmas
Merry
Christmas
|
Twas the night
before christmas
and all thru
the city,
not a soul
was still shopping,
not even
my dear wife Kitty.
The lights
were all hung
over the
city with care
and the trees
were all Glistening
ore' the
water near the square.
Now
I and my family
were down
on our knees,
in hopes
that Christ Jesus
was hearing
our pleas.
We prayed
for our city
and all
who live there.
that god
would reach down
and bless
them with care.
When all of
a sudden,
I heard the
bells ring,
on this night
long ago,
the angels
did sing
anouncing
the birth
of christ
jesus our king
the brightest
star shown
over his
manger so lowly
leading shepards
to worship
this infant
so holy.
I sprang from
my knees
to shout
praises and song.
for
this has given us hope
for which
each of us long.
i kissed all
my family
and we went
off to bed,
knowing that
we had received
the greatest
gift to be had.
salvation
was ours
and for all
who would come,
to believe
in this savior
no matter
where their home
if they would
just believe
and accept
his free love,
then they
will be saved
and see heaven
above.
May your christmas
bring joy
and happiness
and love,
May christ
be the theme
and love
from above
be the gift
we each give
from our
hearts and our soul,
and as long
as you live
may god bless
you all.
Have a very
Merry Christmas and a Happy new year.
