Missing You

It's not so much you I miss

You were never really there anyway

But even the worst of times are preferable to now

Now all my sunny days have lost the sparkle

That came from knowing I had your love.

If I could get those times back

I don't know if I would

I don't know if I ever really loved you

And that hurts.

I want to believe I really did

But honesty forces me to admit I didn't

I love you as much as I can, I suppose

But I know you couldn't be satisfied with that

So I don't say it.

I don't know how much I meant to you

and I don't know if you would want me back

If you didn't, I wouldn't blame you.

I've ruined the greatest thing I have ever had.

I am to blame

But I miss you just the same.
