Participated in a panel discussion on international athletes and the acceptance of women's sports in their country held during the Women's Sports Foundation Summit in Berkeley in May
Participated in the Free Community Basketball Clinic at the Camden Lifetime Center and the Clinic for dozens of kids at the San Jose Event Center
Visited the children of Willow Glen Elementary School with Katryna Gaither promoting the importance of education
Entertained her family visiting from Mozambique in early June (mom, sister and brother) and managed to complete a course in Quantitative Statistics and Research Methods at San Jose State University
