Desserts Apple Crisp from the Pillsbury Cookbook

Recipe Ingredients
6 cups apples -- peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup brown sugar -- firmly packed
1/2 cup butter or margarine -- softened





Recipe Directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place apples in ungreased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with cinnamon, water and lemon juice. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix with pastry blender or fork until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over apples. Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm with cream, ice cream or whipped cream.
