The story of Easter Island has been heard of by most, listened to by some, and solved by none. Although it has been extensively studied for years by surprisingly high funding, the small army of archaeologists have been unable to determine a flawless presentation of the infomration that has no loopholes, cuts no corners, and fills in all the gaps. And so, without halt, the archaeologists and theologens do their best to uncover any new revelations.

Several teams have been dispatched to study the island including the University of South Carolina and several Southern Pacific companies. As of now, these teams haven't brought up any REALLY important infomration that could augment the official investigations by Chile itself, but they are the primary source of the relics and artifacts that aren't easily found on the surface of the island.
