Lone Wolf

All was quiet, twas the
still of the night, moon casting shadows
with soft amber lights.Gradually mounting
was a desolate bayful call, the natives
stood silent as they listened in awe.

Majestically Lone Wolf poised upon the
mound,singing songs for his elders,
the clans all around. He howled spirit
songs, his heart filled with glee,
'ere too long, the wolves joined in
sweet harmony.

Anxiously gazing toward Heaven past
the starry sky,seeing blissful smiles
in his ancestors affectionate eyes.
Wise beyond words, his soulful eyes
perceived like wolves of old, they'd
soon one day run free.

The tribes, the packs, the wolves of
all clans would one day remarkably live
peacefully with man.For humans would learn
and soon become wise to the pleas of earth,
to wildlife's cries.
