in June 2000. My partner's Mom raises Shelties but it is my first dog. |

We got Tony from the Lawrence Humane Society for Valentines day 2000. This was Pooch and I's first 'joint' pet - must be Sirius. |
| Cricket 1978-1999 |

I had Cricket 'forever'. I got her at a shopping mall in 1978 where someone was giving away kittens and she chose me. She moved away to college with me in 1983 and has had various kittie and other animal roommates but much perfers being an only cat. We came home Sunday November 15th to find that Cricket had passed away, I'm sorry that I was not able to be with her at the end. Hopefully she is back to tormenting Magic. I found that the PetLoss site helped me when she passed away. |
| Magic 1979-1998 |

Magic was found in a dumpster and came to live with my mom and I in 1979. He and Cricket were childhood enemies until Cricket and I moved away to college. Magic moved to the farm with mom and enjoyed being the only 'indoor' cat. When mom passed away in 1991 magic came to live with me and he and Cricket reestablised their friendship. Magic was put to rest Saturday April 4th, 1998 from complications due to kidney failure, I went into the vets to be with him so he would not be scared. He has now gone onto be with mom again. He was very friendly and well loved by everyone that knew him, and will be very much missed. I know that I will get sniffly whenever I hear the Heart song 'Magic Man' that he was named after. |
