Austrian Cream Cheese Bars
Crust: 1 1/2 cup flour 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon 2/3 cup butter Topping: 1 (8oz) cream cheese 3/4 cup sugar 2 tbsp flour 2 eggs 1 (6oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips Glaze: 1 (6oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 - 3/4 cup walnuts or pecans Preheat oven to 350*. Combine all crust ingredients. Beat at medium speed about 2 minutes until crumbly and well blended. Press into 9x13 inch pan. Bake about 12 minutes. Mix cream cheese, sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and eggs until smooth. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour into the crust and bake again for 12-15 minutes. Remove and add 1 cup chocolate chips to the top and bake again for 1 minute till melted. Sprinkle nuts and refrigerate for 1 hour. Makes 36 bars.
