Pecan Coffee Cake

1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup shortening
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted margarine
2 tbsp flour
1 cup pecans

Mix first 8 ingredients together.  Pour in lightly greased 9x13 pan.  Mix together 1/2 cup
melted margarine, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and 1 cup chopped pecans.
Sprinkle on top of cake mixture.  Bake at 325* for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
