~MY SELPHIE SHRINE~ SELPHIE: Yay! Welcome to my Selphie shrine! Okay, obviously Selphie is one of my most favorite characters in FF8. Why? Read below. REASONS WHY I LIKE SELPHIE... 1) She's kewl!!! 2) She's a happy-go-luckee person. No low-esteem! 3) I LUV the nunchaka!!! I have one that loox like hers! (don't ask...) 4) If she was a real person, you can't help but feel happy when around her. 5) She's not a weirdo like Quistis ^_^ 6) Irvine likez her. Hey, that meanz he has good taste! The only girl he hasn't hit on is Quistis, so that means he has good taste! ^_^ 7) She's easy to draw! That makes things simple for me ^_^ 8) She needs more appreciation. I mean, there are tons of Selphie shrines, but in the game she isn't very highlighted. WHY I MADE A SHRINE FOR HER? SELPHIE: Well, 'cause of all the reasons listed above!! She's such a kewl, hyper person! And she isn't very important with the plot of the game. Except for the whole orphanage part, but newayz, she isn't much appreciated. That's why I made a mini shrine for her ^_^ To add to all those other huge shrines for her! MORE ABOUT SELPHIE...  

NAME: Selphie Tilmitt  AGE: 17  WEAPON: Nunchaka  HEIGHT: 5'1"  B-DAY: July 16th  BIRTHPLACE: Unknown  BLOODTYPE: B  DESCRIPTION: Like I said, Selphie is a hyper caring girl. And unfortunately, she isn't very important in the story line of FF8. But newayz, Selphie is a Garden cadet that just transfered from Trabia Garden to Balamb Garden. She met Squall, the main character, after running into him right in the beginning of the game. (actually, they met at the orphanage... but heh, read below if you want to know more). Like I said, Selphie isn't very emphasized in the game, so not much is  really highlighted and known about her.

 SELPHIE'S PAST... SELPHIE: Because the orphanage flashback of the game is a pretty important part of the game (because it clears up most of the confoosion), this is one of the only parts where Selphie is, like, mentioned. First of all, like most of the characters, Selphie was born and somehow, her parents or guardians died. She was sent to the Kramers' Orphanage (Edea's house w/ the lighthouse). She became very good friends with most of the kids, especially Irvine. Irvine was describing her especially as the way she is now- a spunky, hyper, kyoote little girl. One day, like all the others, she got sent off someplace- mainly Trabia Garden; Zell gets adopted by the Dinchts', Squall, Seifer, & Quistis get sent to Balamb Garden, and Irvine gets sent to Galbadia Garden. Because of their use of GF's, their memory got slowly erased and shrouded. Selphie explains that she was having such a fun time in Trabia with her friends and such, so that may have to do with forgetting her past, too. Sadly, Trabia recently gets destroyed, and this pretty much hurts Selphie. MORE ABOUT SELPHIE IN THE GAME... SELPHIE: Selphie's weapon throughout the game is the nunchaka:

 HOW TO GET SELPHIE'S ULTIMATE WEAPON... SELPHIE: To get Selphie's ultimate weapon, "Strange Vision", you need those items listed about: 1 Adamantine, 2 Curse Spikes, and 3 Star Fragments. Getting Adamantine is easy; find an Adamantoise around the Dollet area. You can also get it through another easy way; get the Minotaur's card (by going to the Tomb of the Unknown King and defeating the Brothers). Use your Card-Mod command (Quezacotl command) to convert Minotaur's card into 10 Adamantines. Next, you need 2 Curse Spikes. You can get them from Tri-Face; it'll either drop one or you can mug it. You can also get it from the monsters in the Deep Sea Deposit and the Island closest to H*ll. You can also modify a Tri-Face's card into 1 Curse Spike (but of course, you need 2). The last ingredients are 3 Star Fragments. You can get them by mugging those Iron Giants  in the Deep Sea Deposit. Or you can defeat Lv. 100 T-Rexasaurs in the Balamb training grounds, Balamb Alcaud Plains, or the Island Closest to H*ll. Once you've gotten all the ingredients, go to any junkshop (or use Tonberry to direct you to the Balamb Junkshop) and voila! You have Selphie's "Strange Vision"! SELPHIE'S LIMIT BREAKS... SELPHIE: Surprisingly, I don't know much about Selphie's limit breaks because I usually don't have her in my party. But according to the guide I used throughout playing the game, and according to some sites, you have to use "Do over" a buncha times when doing Selphie's limit break, Slot. You have to find a rare magic spell that won't ordinarily show up. Selphie can cast ANY spell, as long as you use "Do Over" a bunch of times and such. Now, here's something that my guide and a lot of sites said that I haven't even tried yet. First, you're supposed to either put Selphie in a critical condition (not recommended), or cast Aura on her. Use the Circle button to skip the characters' turns, so that the other character will cast a Magic spell, then switch to Selphie (don't choose a spell for her, yet). Now, BEFORE the other character casts the Magic spell, open the Playstation lid as quick as possible! The character casting the spell will look frozen, in his/her casting-spell pose thing. Now, here's what I don't get. I dunno how the other character can be frozen but at the same time you can be happily selecting what limit break Selphie should use. And once you're done selecting, close the Playstation lid and watch the frozen character cast his/her spell, followed by Selphie ^_^ Now, Selphie's "special" limit breaks are Full-Cure, Wall, Rapture, and The End. The End is supposed to work on ANY monster, BOSS, etc. Except for Undead & Ultimecia. Wow, it can even work on Omega & Ultima! SELPHIE: Oh!
