JC's Kartland Go Kart Race. Racers will start on the sound of the bell, and the first racer to complete three laps around the track will win a prize. Racers are required to pay a $3.00 fee each time that they enter a new race. 12 races will be held in all. Three racers will race in each and every race. First race begins at 2:00 PM and the last race will end around approximately 2:45 PM.
Sunday, October 21
Halloween Scare. Chestnut Ranch will be open to the public for trick-or-treating if they dare between the hours of 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Goulish ghosts and haunted witches will be on the scene so it is better to be aware than get a scare. Trick-or-treaters will have a long scare through a dark green forest scene before they reach the Haunted House, where the treats will be dispensed. No fee is required to participate in this event.
Thursday, November 18
Picnic Grove Picnic Day. The Picnic Grove themed area will be set up to accomodate many visitors, and will be open for breakfast and lunch picnics stretching the hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Staff would like to ask that all picnicers clean up after themselves and leave the Picnic Grove as it was when they arrived. No fee is required to participate in this event. Chestnut Ranch will not supply the food for this event.
