Subject: Thumbscrew preload adjusters

The thumbscrew preload adjusters are available from BAM, in San Jose. Talk to Art Thompson, 408-363-2380. They come in several annodized colors (natch, the blue is best) and are around $25. 60 second installation.
Tell Art I sent you. I'm trying to buy influence to get him to build some cool R1 bits. He's got access to a CNC in the machine shop and has made some very trick ZX9R stuff. He's looking at building an aluminum mount for the Scott's/Ohlins rotary steering damper as well as a mount for the short Ohlins 916-style damper (for the R1). He's done stuff like swingarms, rear linkage, rearsets, pegs, clip-ons, triple clamps, etc. for the ZX9R's they race. Tell him what you want. He's motivated!
