| Contrary to popular belief, there is NOTHING wrong with MOST horses bound for slaughter. The double decker stock trucks on the highway heading towards Fort McLeod in Southern Alberta carry on it some ones beloved pet that they couldn't afford to keep anymore, the horse that the kids don't ride anymore, the racehorse that couldn't win, the pmu colt that didn't sell, the riding horse that someone doesn't want to feed over the winter, etc. etc. etc. The reasons most horses are on that truck are endless.
