Six Feet Under
skit with The Count (Jerry Nelson)
and his bats watching their favorite television program
Parody of Six Feet Under
NOTE: The feet appear to belong to Elmo, Oscar, and Lola (from Plaza Sesamo).
And we're not sure about the last line.
(The Count is wearing red pajamas. We see him playing his scary music on his counting organ.)
(Lightning flashes and he walks over to his couch, his bats follow him.)
(By the couch is a coffee table with a lit candle on it, and what looks like
two bowls of Halloween candy treats, a popcorn bucket and a reddish colored cup of liquid.)
The Count: Ah, ah, ah! Ah, hmm-hmm-hmm. Yes. Now my pets, heh, heh. Make yourselves comfortable.
Heh, heh, mm, yes! It is time for our favorite television program,"Six Feet Under".
(He turns on his television with his remote that is in the shape of a bat.)
Yes, quiet my pets. It begins.
(We see the screen of the television now.
First there is the introduction with a tree on top of the words "Six Feet Under",
at first it is black and white, then it has color.)
Announcer: And now, tonight's episode of "Six Feet Under".
(Screen changes to under a table. We see chairs.)
(Then three monsters seat themselves at the table. We don't see them, we only see their feet.
From left to right are Lola's feet, Oscar's feet, and Elmo's feet.)
Mom's voice: Hey, hey! Feet off the table! Get your feet off the table!
Monster 3 (Elmo): Ooh, uh, sorry, mom. Oh.
Monster 2 (Oscar): Sorry about that.
Monster 1 (Lola): Oh dear.
(The feet begin to kick each other, we go back to The Count sitting on his couch with his bats behind him.)
The Count: Ah, and now we see the feet, my pets, under the table! Ha, ha! I shall count them!
(When he counts the feet, numbers appear on his television screen, the feet also move as he counts them)
Six feet under! Ah, ah, ah!
(All the feet move and wiggle now, Oscar's feet kicks Elmo's feet.)
Monster 3 (Elmo): I wanna eat! Now, where's the food? I wanna eat! Stop kicking me!
(We turn back to The Count and lightning flashes while we hear thunder.)
The Count: Mmm. Ah, ah, ah. Ah, oh, an excellent program, my pets. What shall we watch next?
Three's Company? Eight Is Enough? Sixty Minutes?
Ha, ha, ha! I am one happy couch potato! That's one, one happy couch potato! Ah, ah, ah, ah!
(Lightning & Thunder again)
Ah, vast lace them my foot. Ha, ha, ha, hmm. (???)
