Super Seventies RockSite!
Dennis McGee's site stuffed with info, images, links, trivia, you name it and he probably has it.

The Lost 45s
Barry Scott's amazing "The Lost 45s" is back online where it belongs! Celebrating nearly 20 years on the airwaves, this is a great celebration of the "forgotten" artists and tunes of the 70s and 80s. Click on "Listen Now" to bask in the memories via interviews, news clips, TV ads, theme songs and, of course, the music itself.

The Women of 1970's Punk
Great collection of links, info and sound files for the punk chicks in the '70s. I think webmistress Rina may be my long-lost sister :-)

NOTE: Dead link, but I'll keep checking.

Musicradio 77 WABC
Another great flashback site. Even if you never had the pleasure of hearing it live, this great station will send you back again, what a fantastic homage! Too many fab Real Audio files and links to name 'em all (but don't miss the Remembrance page with its incredible 37 min. montage of hits and promos, prepare for chills indeed), just wander aimlessly and enjoy.

Backstage - Biographys Of Your Favourite Classic Rock Bands
Catch up with your faves from the era right here.

Mrs Neugast's Fan Worship Page
The Teen Idol Art Gallery alone is worth a visit with its great collection of cereal box records of The Monkees, Jackson 5, Bobby Sherman, The Archies and even The Sugar Bears (featuring Kim Carnes!). Most of the names have more than one page, just keep clicking Next. The Fave Rave area is very well done with great pages on David Cassidy, Donny Osmond, Bobby Sherman and The Bay City Rollers. Don't miss the Island of Lost Idols section featuring Jack Wild (Warning: Contains a current pic, your girlish dreams may be squashed!) and The Hudson Brothers. The Links are great and if you're in the mood to chat, Mrs. Neugast's Coffee Clatch is a huge message board of like-minded folks. I've provided all these seperate links as I feel they're easier to navigate, most link you back to the frames if you'd rather use them.

Very nice site for his fans, includes wallpaper, greeting cards, midis and some lovely pics.

For David Cassidy fans
Even more David goodies, this gal's a BIG fan!

NOTE: Not sure if this is the same site as before, but the name's the same and the other one has disappeared.

C'mon, Get Happy!
Or try the "official" Partridge Family page. Links all over the place to articles, interviews, people selling and looking for PF stuff.

The Harry Chapin Archive
From the founder of the alt.music.harry-chapin Newsgroup, a grand collection of memories via articles, pictures, and song lyrics from this wonderful and sorely missed man. Includes chords for you budding guitar players out there.

Short Stories: A Harry Chapin Web Site
Nice collection of articles and pictures from a UK fan.

Harry Chapin on YouTube
And, don't miss my own playlist of Harry tunes on YouTube. Very comprehensive, if I do say so myself :-)

Sammy Davis Jr.
He was more than The Candy Man, find out everything else you'd like to know right here. Terrific Photo Page with some groovy '70s pics and much more.

NOTE: Appears to be a dead link. I'll keep checking as it was the only decent site I could find for Sammy.

Rod McKuen: A Safe Place to Land
While you may not wish to admit it, some of you must have enjoyed his work as much as I did, he sold a ton of books and albums back then. This is his official site, indeed a safe place to land on your webflying, check Today's Flight where Rod answers his email and enjoy some unpublished poetry as well.

The Monkees
Lots of Monkee goodies here, including current news, lyrics, loads of pics and lots of great reading about the boys.

Only Olivia
Excellent fansite for the one and only Olivia Newton-John. The only thing missing (IMHO) is a lyrics collection, everything else is here.

NOTE: Can't connect right now, so check out this fan site with loads of gorgeous pics and lyrics, etc. Also, see Olivia's official site for current news.

Sonny and Cher
TV Party link as the others have disappeared. Good info, many links, and a few videos to boot.

Cher's official site
All very nice for the current version of Cher but to really enjoy her '70s version try the next site.

Cher World
Wow! This place has it all for the Cher fans out there. The Gallery of high quality pics and the Wallpapers alone are worth the trip. Nice work!

Cher on YouTube
Lots of song videos, all sorted by year.

Hypertext Who
A darn good start for any loyal Who fan, this site has plenty of lyrics, pics, reviews and links. Long live rock!

Elton John

Elton John.Com
And you thought you'd make it through a 70s site maintained by a woman named Tiny Dancer and NOT find Elton? Yeah, right! Start at his outstanding official site. Sign up for The Rocket and receive a wealth of goodies not available to the public including preferred seating at concerts. Elton is indeed involved with the site so go here before spreading some rumour you've heard, he'll set you straight, so to speak ;-)

The Illustrated Elton John Discography
The beginning of the best darn Elton song site on the net, period. Includes everything you could possibly need to know about his albums, CDs, radio shows, lyrics (see below) and much more.

Elton John Lyrics
Every single song EJ ever recorded I think! "All let Moses" ... no, it's "Holy Moses!" Very helpful and comprehensive.

Cornflakes & Classics - The musical history of Elton John
Paul Maclauchlan's incredibly comprehensive website devoted to the man's music. Includes some amazing scans from the old days, interviews, a *complete* discography and tons of trivia for the fans. Savour goodies like his Life Magazine interview (1971) and Playboy interview (1976), or just start at the beginning of his career in 1970 and wade through the years (1971 has a concert ticket scanned, only $4.50! And a nice Hit Parader magazine cover; 1975, the zenith of his career, has TONS of great 16 Magazine scans and one of the snazzy Dodger Stadium tickets, 10 bucks for those magical seats). Excellent work, Paul!

NOTE: Dead link :-( Can't believe we've lost all that fab work, I shall keep checking.

Don't miss the rest!
