50 years of Scouting, in 2005
Troop 80 was chartered in 1955 and will be celebrating 50 year's of existence in the year 2005. We are currently trying to find former Scouts, parents, and leaders. If you are one of the above mentioned people or if you know one please contact us by E-mail.
We will be needing people to help coordinate the program for the Scouts that were active in the 50's, the 60's, the 70's, the 80's, the 90's, and after the turn of the century. If you would be interested please contact Eric Wolfram.
We are constantly looking for new information about past years. If you have any information that you would like to see posted that we have not posted please let us know.
The Troop orginally meet at Avondale Baptist Church and moved to the Elk's Lodge sometime in the early 60's. In 1967 the troop moved agian to the troop 80 building which is now known as the Jack Bryant Scout Center.

50 years of Scouting, in 2005
Also we are always in need of adult volunteers to help on Tuesday nights and to go camping with us. If you are interested please drop by at one of our Troop 80 weekly meetings. We still meet on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Jack Bryant Scout Center.
