About Unwritten Law... Unwritten Law is a band from Poway, California. They have three full length albums: Blue Room (1994), Oz Factor (1996), & Unwritten Law (1998). Currently there are 5 members in the band: Scott Russo (Vocals), Wade Youman(Drums), Steve Morris (Guitar), Rob Brewer (Guitar), & Pat Kim (Bass). Their music is categorized as punk but as Scott put it, "We didn't want to follow any guidelines, we just made music we wanted to hear. We felt that if we made music we were happy with ourselves, other people would like it. People call us punk, but it's really '90s rock 'n' roll." Since being kicked off the Warped Tour last month, they are now doing a headlining tour this Spring/Summer, hitting Philly April 30th @ the Troc(for a complete list of dates, see the official UL page linked below). I've been a pretty huge fan of them for awhile & was lucky enough to see them perform twice this year. The most recent time, in December, I had the honor of hanging with Scott Russo of the band (to see the picture of him and I, visit my page linked to the right).
