From the Webmaster:  While this type of comedy isn't exactly my cup of tea, I did find the film enjoyable.  Multiple sight-gags and word-plays abound.  Ashmore is entertaining in his smallish role.

From Nina:  Actually, the funniest device in the movie was every time the geeky lead main male character took off his glasses, he became cute and everyone fell in love with him - including the monster.
Frank Ashmore
Says:

"I don't think it's ever been explained where this monster comes from but he has a thing about closets.  He hides in them.  There's a real thin line which runs through this story, though.  For instance, the monster takes off for San Francisco and in the end, rather than capturing the leading lady, he . . . well, you'll see.  They don't hammer you over the head with it but it's cute." ( from 'The V-Files')

Comments: From the Webmaster:  Frank Ashmore has a small role as Starbuck's triad rival, who is murdered after both he and Starbuck are thrown out of a triad match.
Comments: From DavidOne of the best episodes in the series.  Starbuck is framed for the murder of Flight Sergeant Ortega (Frank Ashmore) and Apollo etc. have to race against time to clear him.  Frank gives a convincing performance, well as good a performance he could give considering the time he is on the air, and shows a very different character to Martin/Philip.

Comments: From the Webmaster:  Thanks to Albert on Vsitters, I was able to catch the second episode when it was rerun.  Frank's part (as the husband of a babysitter accused of killing her charge) is very small.  He had only a few lines and has put on a bit of weight.  Did a fine job though.
