VMG Rating and Review: 4 out of 5.  "Man's cruel ugly side is exposed in this adaptation of Flannery O'Connor's brutal short story.  Irene Worth is a struggling Georgia farm widow who allows a Polish World War II refugee and his family to live and work on her land.  The woman's initially sympathetic feelings gradually mirror those of her other worthless labourers, who fear that their lives of relative laziness are jeopardized by this 'unwanted foreigner'"

VMG Rating and Review: 4 out of 5.  "Henry Fonda is the chief delight in this factual account of Clarence Earl Gideon, who was thrown into prison in the early 1960's for a minor crime - and denied legal counsel because he could not afford to pay for one.  Gideon boned up on the laws of our land and concluded that everyone was entitled to a lawyer, whether or not such was affordable."

Character: Harless
Costars: Charles Durning, Tanya Crowe
GMR Rating: 2 1/2 out of 4
VMG Rating and Review: 3 out of 5.  "Despite the hasty beginning that fails to set up a strong premise for the pivotal scene of the movie, this is a chilling film that mixes the supernatural with a moral message.  Borrows some ideas from such films as Of Mice and Men and To Kill A Mockingbird."

GMR Rating: 2 out of 4.
VMG Rating and Review: 4 out of 5.  "An impressive cast turns in some excellent performances in this, one of the better TV miniseries.  A string of unsolved murders in 1920 in a small southern town is at the base of this engrossing suspense-drama.  The story follows the various police chiefs from the time of the murders to 1962 when Billy Dee Williams, the towns first black police chief, is intrigued by the case and the spell it casts over the town and its political boss (Charlton Heston)"

Comments: Deb comments:   Lane Smith has a small role in the first few tapes, with only a few minutes of airtime.  My fiance and I are 'space nuts' and like watching movies/specials about the space program.  This series is educational and entertaining and isa must see if you enjoy learning more about the 60's space race.
