Involvement in the Secret Society

Sometimes in our lives, things can be filled with unpredictable ups and downs, so was Rev. Master Loong Sang's life as an adolescence.

He resigned from the Police Force after 16 years fulfilling his duties. Although somehow, the hype of being overly respected and looked up to for his previous profession, left him clueless of what he was about to get himself into.

Rev. Master Loong Sang, known as Richard Tan during then, was overwhelmed by an unknown source of offer, and was lured to work in a massage centre that was later found to be owned by a gang-related society. With his previous experience in the police force, skilled with martial art and capable of handling a gun, Rev. Master Long Sang soon became popular among his peers and immediately accepted by the group. He began dealing with gang-related matters in the name of righteousness with his group of followers and found himself to be deeply dragged in the world of power, wealth, gambling, women and alcohol for quite some time.

Until one day suddenly, his inner-self conscious began to resurface. Realizing that such soul-deteriorating life could not go on any longer, he chose to leave the life behind, and he went to Thailand for self-redemption. Without a particular destination in mind, Rev. Master Long Sang was wandering around until he met an aging wise man who had lived his life as a hermit for many years.

The wise man led Rev. Master Loong sang to a time-worn building situated in a secluded suburban area. What he saw for the first time gave him the greatest shock of his life. These were thousands of homeless people so much in poverty that they had to camp outside a temple with nothing but a piece of white cloth as their roof.

The wise man began to unravel Rev. Master Loong Sang's shock and confusion. He explained that Rev. Master Loong Sang should try and help those people since he had have the luxury of living as a normal human being, never having to worry about food, clothes or money, never having to go through the pains and sufferings which the people were experiencing then since they had no other choice.

The revelation made Rev. Master Loong Sang realized what he should do with his life after that. So he vowed never to return to the previous life style. Since that day forward, Rev. Master Loong Sang has changed his name from Richard L.H. Tan to the current name, and begun his journey searching for the real truth of life through charity.
