The Texas sky was stunning this evening.

Apparently this is what they consider a picnic spot here in the middle
of nowhere Texas...

She, in lovely Landergin, Texas. Langergin is just that one building--
which wasn't open when we were there--so don't count on it for a pit stop.

This sign marks the midpoint of Route 66. At this rate we'll be at the end
late Tuesday, and we'd better because I'm catching a train early Wednesday
morning. At least we have Tuesday night to make up time if we need it.

Adrian, the town at the midpoint. Not much too it, but very typical of
the places we've been seeing. Lot's of character.
