I tend to agree with you. I talked to my service department and they said the fuel injection will resonate and make some noise also. I agree with you about syn. oil, but some of the members voiced some concern that they were specifically told not to use syn. oil in the XX. I really don't know what that is all about, but I was tempted to go back to dino. I think now because of your hard work I'm going to stick with the syn. and just ride. The noise happens only at one particular area of the rev range whether going up or down, fast or slow. So I am just going to listen and ride and keep asking other owners and shops until I can get a definite answer.
