Yusuke is driving a cart that's being pulled by an exceptionally large, and exceptionally ugly as- errr donkey. For some strange reason it has a bright red pompadour… The creature brays loudly every other second, and Yusuke is sweat dropping heavily. Yusuke: Hey! Don't yell at me! I didn't tell her to do this to you… she just doesn't like you I guess… The donkey brays loudly and gets promptly shit upon by a bird flying overhead. Yusuke looks up and sees that a large crow has perched in a tree beside the road. Crow: All decisions of the fic writer are final and nonnegotiable! It glares pointedly at the donkey. Crow: And I wouldn't say that again about Hiei, Kuwabara. Ever. Yusuke: 'cmon! You didn't have to do this to him… Crow: So you think I'm being unreasonable? Hmmmmm… I'll think about it. He's just lucky my dad likes him. I COULD have been mean about casting him. Yusuke: There's something worse than this? The crow thinks for a bit. Crow: Well… instead of using extras and such I could have cast Kuwabara as all the evil soldiers… Then I could have let Hiei kill him again and again… The crow gets a decidedly evil grin… if that's even possible on a bird…? Crow: Hmm now that's an idea… Kuwabara & Yusuke: Eep. The cart takes off like a rocket… Yusuke can barely hold on! Wow…. The crow looks directly at the camera…? Crow: Now I would like to say that I really don't hate Kuwabara. I don't even dislike him! He's just fun to play with **refined villainess' laughter** I'm truly not that evil! Back to the show. There are threatening storm clouds rumbling overhead. Duo: Ugh. Looks like rain and plenty of it. Hiei: Hn. Find shelter. The sun will be going down soon. Duo looks up and the sky is covered by tree branches… Duo: How can you tell? Hiei: After so many sunsets? Hiei hands Duo his katana and Kurama. Hiei: Keep him safe. Duo: I'll guard him with my life. Hiei: Hn. You'd better. Duo is waiting outside a stable. **thump** Night has fallen. Duo: Oi! You done in there? Kurama: Hai… Duo enters the stable where Kurama has just finished dressing. The long call of a wolf echoes through the stable, and Kurama runs out of the stable… his eyes aglow anticipating his meeting with Hiei's wolf form. Instead he runs into Yomi on a horse… with many wolf pelts slung over his saddle. Kurama chokes and screams. Duo runs out of the stable brandishing the katana. Duo: Kurama?! What is the matter? Yomi: Kurama? Ahhh….. Kurama. Duo pushed Kurama behind him, and points the sword at Yomi's throat. Duo: Move on! Yomi: Calm down boy… you might hurt yourself. Duo: Are you deaf? I said move along! Yomi laughs, but kicks his horse & moves on anyway. Duo breathes a sigh of relief and slumps… until Kurama runs past him in the direction of the forest. Duo: Awww man! Hiei is going to kill me! |
