Duo wriggled in the cramped tunnel below the Cathedral. Today the Bishop was taking the confessions of his priests, today was the day Hiei would kill him. Duo: 'Ch this is the LAST time I help a pair of cursed lovers! Totally wrong for Death's image… not to mention I've spent wa~y more time in sewers thanks to this guy than I like to think about! Duo looked over his head at the last barrier to completing his mission: a grate that led up to the floor. Only one small problem remained, someone was standing on it. [Scene change to Hiei holding Kurama & talking to Yusuke] Hiei: The bishop will be taking confessions today. I will storm the mass. If I succeed then the bishop will be dead, and we can leave his place. Until then, take care of Kurama. Yusuke: Anou… what if you fail? Hiei: Then the church bell will ring on time. If… the bell does ring… then I'm dead. I ask you to kill Kurama. Make it quick. Painless. Hiei hands a small dagger to Yusuke who holds it as if it were poisonous. Yusuke: I-I couldn't! Hiei: Do not fail us twice. Hiei handed Kurama over to Yusuke before stalking out of the small building. Yusuke: Ganbatte Hiei. [Back to Duo and the cathedral] Duo slipped a white robe over his black clothes before closing the door of the closet behind him. The slight muffled protests of the unfortunate alter boy Duo had acquired the clothes from could be faintly heard. Duo quickly made his way to the large barred door at the back of the cathedral. He looked at the heavy wooden bar slung across it… it was a very effective lock. He spit on his hands and heaved up with all his might. He bar did not move. Duo: Kuso! Duo planted his feet firmly and proceeded to try again. Heero: What do you think you are doing? Duo slowly turned to face the Sheriff, who was standing a bit too close for comfort. Duo: Aaah… I need to get a bit of fresh air before confession? Duo prayed that Heero wouldn't recognize him in the white clerical robes. Heero's hand snaked out and grasped the end of Duo's braid and wound it around his fist a few times. Heero wasn't fooled. Heero: Hn. I wonder what sins you would have to confess to the bishop. Heero jerked Duo's head back sharply and captivated the braided boy with his piercing gaze. The he ran a gentle finger over Duo's cheek causing him to shiver unconsciously. Heero: I know what my sins are. Heero nibbled on Duo's earlobe then soothed the spot with a quick swipe of his tongue. Heero: I've fallen in love with the enemy. At these simple words whispered into his ear, Duo's eyes flew wide open and he stared speechless at Heero. Heero: And that is unforgivable. So there are two ways I can deal with this. Self -destruct, or eliminate the enemy. Duo eeped and slowly began edging away from the psychotic Sheriff… no telling what he was going to do! Heero just shrugged and walked over to the wooden bar that still lay across the door. Heero: Well? Are you going to help? Duo: 0_0 Huh? Heero: Baka, I'm defecting. Thus you are no longer my enemy. Heero smirked as Duo visibly relaxed, and moved to help him with the door. Heero: I never liked that Karasau anyway. |
