Easy Circular Knit Roll Brim Hat

Cast 81 st. on to 6 mm. Circular needle. 
Knit first row and pull CO tail tightly into the first stitch and pull stitches together. 
After you have knit 3 or 4 rows you can weave the tail in.
If you like or you can weave tail in when you have completed the hat.

Knit each row until you have 6” – 6 1/2”

Decrease Rows: 
First Row: k7 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k6 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k5 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k4 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k3 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k2 k2 tog across
Next Row: k1 k2 tog across
Next Row: Knit (this may be difficult to do and can be skipped)

Break yarn and draw through the stitches on your needle. 
Fasten securely. 
Brim will roll on its own.

For a looser hat CO 90 stitches or use a 6.6 mm Circular Needle.

Easy Knit Garter Stitch Border Hat

Cast on 81 st.  Using 6 mm circular needles.

Pull the CO tail tightly into the first stitch and pull stitches together. 

Work 10 rows of garter stitch or ribbing. 
Knit 3” of stockinette stitch (more for a little longer hat).

Decrease Rows: 
First Row: k7 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k6 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k5 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k4 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k3 k2 tog across
Next Row: knit
Next Row: k2 k2 tog across
Next Row: k1 k2 tog across
Next Row: Knit (this may be difficult to do and can be skipped.)



Break yarn and draw through the stitches on your needle. 
Fasten securely. 
Weave in yarn ends.
