at Halifax County, Virginia; the bondsman was her brother William Brandon. She
was listed as daughter of Elenor Brandon who consents. She died on 1 June 1819
at Caswell County, North Carolina. She was buried at the Barker family property;
near the Virginia state line on Highway 119.
ix. Jean Brandon married Thomas Burton on 28 December 1802 at Georgia.
x. Catherine Brandon married James Stewart Warren on 15 December 1794 at
Halifax County, California; Catherine signed her own consent. The bondsman was

between 1767 and 1781. A bond for the marriage of he and Mary Langley, daughter
of Thomas Langley fifth and Mary Wiley, was signed on 17 January 1796 at Caswell
County, North Carolina; the bondsman was John Langley. He died on 24 February
1841 at Gwinnett County, Georgia. He was buried at Brandon Family Cemetery,
Lawrenceville.
Mary Langley was born in 1776 at Mecklenberg County, Virginia. She died on 23
October 1853 at Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Georgia. She was buried at
Brandon Family Cemetery.

i. Eunice Green Brandon was born on 2 February 1797 at Halifax County,
Virginia. She married James C. Reed on 5 June 1816 at Jackson County, Georgia.
She died on 2 January 1856 at age 58.
ii. Francis Lawson Brandon was born on 2 February 1801 at Halifax County,
Virginia. He married Zillah Haynie on 24 December 1822 at Calhoun County,
Alabama. He died on 8 August 1884 at Gaylesville, Cherokee County, Alabama, at
age 83. He was buried at Russell (Randle) Cemetery.
iii. Thomas Wiley Brandon was born on 16 May 1802 at Halifax County,
Virginia. He married Louisa Avery Green on 7 January 1830. He died on 11 June
1874 at Stilesboro, North Carolina, at age 72.
iv. Parthenia Carter Brandon was born on 27 July 1805 at Halifax County,
Virginia. She married Daniel Pentecost Clower on 8 January 1829. She died on 13
May 1845 at Gwinnett County, Georgia, at age 39. She was buried at Brandon
Family Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
v. William Robert Brandon was born on 10 August 1809 at Jackson County,
Georgia. He married Irene Williams. He married Elizabeth Eskew. He died on 21
February 1875 at Mississippi at age 65.
vi. Leroy Jackson Brandon was born on 18 November 1813 at Jackson County,
Georgia. He died at Yorktown from exposure while serving with the Confederacy.
vii. Moses Alexander Brandon was born on 10 November 1815 at Jackson
County, Georgia. He married Elizabeth Adair in 1837. He died in 1866 at Floyd
County, Georgia.
viii. Joseph Parnell Brandon was born on 12 July 1818 at Jackson County,
Georgia. He married Mary Louisa Anglin on 20 February 1845. He died on 25 July
1884 at Gwinnett County, Georgia, at age 66. He was buried at Brandon Family
Cemetery, Lawrenceville.
ix. Azariah Roberts Brandon was born in 1819 at Gwinnett County, Georgia.
She died in 1822 at Gwinnett County, Georgia. She was buried at Brandon Family

x. David Smith Brandon M.D was born on 11 May 1821 at Gwinnett County,
Georgia. He married Harriet Lavinia Jones. He died on 11 March 1878 at Georgia
at age 56. He was buried at Jones Cemetery, Greenwood Plantation, Thomasville,
Georgia.
4. David Brandon (Francis) was born
between 1767 and 1781. A bond for the marriage of he and Rebekah Connally,
daughter of George Connally and Frances Moore, was signed on 15 December 1800 at
Caswell County, North Carolina; (A David Brandon married Cathrine Irvine, bond
signed 17 May 1785 at Halifax County, Virginia. I am not certain which one was
son of Francis Brandon and Elinor Richmond.).

surety was John Holt. Witnesses were William Brandon and John Holt. He married
Eliza Ann (_____) in April 1859 at Callaway County, Missouri. He died on 8 March
1874 at Callaway County, Missouri, at age 85. His estate was probated on 14
March 1874; his son Francis Brandon was appointed executor.
He began military service on 5 July 1813 in the War of 1812. He ended military
service on 1 October 1813 having served at Norfolk. He left a will on 11 January
1874 at Callaway County, Missouri.
+ Jane Holt was born on 12 February 1790 at Halifax County, Virginia. She died
on 2 April 1858 at Callaway County, Missouri, at age 68. She was buried at Dry
Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, New Bloomfield.

Virginia. He married Elizabeth Ann Holt, daughter of Hiram Holt and Jane
Chambers, circa 1835. He married Eliza Ann Reynolds on 19 February 1846 at
Callaway County, Missouri. He died on 18 January 1851 at Callaway County,
Missouri, at age 37.
iii. Sarah Pane Brandon was born on 18 February 1816 at Halifax County,
Virginia. She married John Friskin Holt, son of Abner Holt and Elizabeth Brooks,
on 4 November 1835 at Callaway County, Missouri. She died on 11 March 1872 at
Callaway County, Missouri, at age 56. She was buried at Old Prospect Methodist
Episcopal Church Cemetery.
iv. Francis Brandon was born on 20 November 1819 at Halifax County,
Virginia. He married Anne Catherine Bennett, daughter of John Bennett and
Susanna Holt, on 15 December 1841 at Callaway County, Missouri; they were
married at Dry Fork Baptist Church. He married Georgeanna A. Herring, daughter
of George Herring, in June 1876 at Fulton, Callaway County, Missouri. He died on
27 December 1890 at Fulton, Callaway County, Missouri, at age 71. He was buried
at Hillcrest Cemetery.
v. + Elizabeth Jane Brandon was born on 14 July 1826 at Halifax County,
Virginia. She married + William Wilson Vaughn, son of + Banister W. Vaughn and +
Martha Wilson, on 1 March 1843 at Callaway County, Missouri. She married James
Alexander Henderson, son of David Henderson Jr, on 5 February 1867 at Callaway
County, Missouri. She died on 28 October 1909 at New Bloomfield, Callaway
County, Missouri, at age 83. She was buried at Hopewell Cemetery.
Eliza Ann (_____) married (___) Dozier before 1843. She was born on 1 October
1805 at North Carolina. She died on 2 August 1870 at Callaway County, Missouri,
