| Employees of the Large Cavitation Channel (LCC) became an affiliate of AFGE Local 3438 when they overwhelmingly voted to unionize by a 80% margin on March 26, 1998. The vote was certified by the Federal Labor Relations Authority on April 9, 1998 and henceforth, established our right to be represented as a bargaining unit. Since then, employee participation in our affiliate has increased to 95%. |

| Although a new affiliate, we have decided to create this site to enhance the support services to our fellow members. Our intent is to provide a number of resources to help our members know and understand their rights, stay in touch with current happenings, participate in open dialog through discussion groups and provide a means to obtain specialized help from other members as well as provide an avenue to suggest improvements. | |
