I live in Bountiful, Utah, in the good old USA. I was born in Crosby County, Crosbyton, Texas. My Dad was a cowboy then. They tore down the rock house where I was born. That makes being president of the USA a little more uphill!
The only regret I have in living in Utah for the last 39 years is that none of my children are Texans; but most of them have gone to Texas universities.
Why did I put together (always in process) All of the Words of This Life?
To start with, this progressive account of the good news for mankind started out as a simple white paper to answer, "Why should nations, especially in the newly independent nations in the near East, need the Old Testament when they are taught the gospel?". The logical answer, of course: "They do not have 'all the words of this life' without the Old Testament."
Here is a little of my background. This will give you some idea of where I'm coming from. Forgive me for leaving out detail in the last 30 years.
About a year after I was born, my Dad started farming a mile south of Ralls, Texas, on land he rented from Percy Ralls. My early recollections were making sugar cane molasses (my Dad helped) and finding Indian arrow heads on the small hill where the house was located.
Then Percy Ralls' sons were old enough to do farming, so my Dad found some land he could own southwest of Littlefield, Texas. There is were I really grew up -- in the cotton patch. I and my three younger sisters have fond memories of that place where our roots are. I think I was the only one who really knew we were poor.
I don't remember a lot about the second world war. I do remember that on Monday, the day after the Sunday Pearl Harbor attack, I found out about it from the children on the school bus.
These were the years when I was baptized into Jesus Christ at age 14. My Dad, at the age of 45 was baptized, an amazing incident for one so old, as expressed by the preacher who baptized him.
High school was a great time. I was in the school plays both junior and senior years. Of course, my dreams were a little different then when compared to now.
Then came the Korean war and, through the insistence of my Mother, I joined the Air Force -- I was a draft dodger. Some of my older friends did go to Korean, but thank God, they came home safely with their wounds.
To make a long story short, I came back from the Air Force, got my BS in Electrical Engineering, got a job in Salt Lake City, Utah with Sperry (now Unisys), and got married to Jerry Holt (from near Plainview, Texas). Notice the "male" mile stones. There are really a lot more details, but this is sufficient for now.
We have four wonderful daughters. The youngest will be starting college (1999) in Lubbock, Texas, at Texas Tech, where I, Jerry, and one other daughter graduated.
I'm effectively retired to do what else I'm here on earth to do, except when a contract opportunity comes up. Jerry will be retired soon. It is time to wakeup to where we are in the stream of history.
So, as they say in Texas, "That's about it!" However, I hope not! With the new millennium here, there are some weighty matters that we need to attend in order to return this nation to the "Great God our King!" Sing the last stanza of "America" or "My Country 'Tis of Thee."
In order for the United States to maintain its sovereignty, we must recover from the aftermath of the rock/drug/sex counterculture invasion (cultural corruption with bad music), the radical environmentalist worship of the earth (Earth First!, World Wildlife Fund), British free trade (NAFTA), and international financial-maritime oligarchic globalism (IMF, GATT)!
Yes, I know that may be just a lot of words to you! You have to ask God for wisdom and seek (search it out) for understanding
I thank God that there has been an awakening within myself. We all have a personal responsibility to declare the good news. For myself, it is especially in the context of all the words of life that God has given us.
By the grace and blessing of God, I know there are others out there who have not "bowed their knee to Baal."

my dreams One of my dreams was to be a missionary in Tibet. Well, I did go to the Republic of South Africa for a 30-day mission for Christ in 1985.
No, I don't play a musical instrument, but maybe I should. Do I have any hobbies? I used to like photography. I used to be a cartoonist for my Littlefield High School weekly paper.
But, my plans now include being a programmer to start a game that I have been thinking about. Are any of you out there interested in that type of thing? If you would be interested in historical games, then E-Mail Me about your vision!
Ten Web Pages Worth Visiting (But don't dwell there!) I have to keep reminding myself; in the final analysis the library is the place to go for research.
And maybe one other interesting place on the Web: FOX interactive: Archives.
Crosbyton,Texas Here are few things about my part of Texas.
Crosbyton, Texas, is a town of about 3000, not more than 3 miles east of Blanco (white) Canyon. The rock house where I was born was located a mile north of Crosbyton across a branch of the Blanco canyon.
See Traveltex: God's Country (Crosbyton).
Another one of my favorite places is Canyon, Texas, the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon. See more at Wild Texas: Palo Duro Canyon State Park - Canyon, Texas. Palo Duro Canyon (second to the Grand canyon) suddenly drops below the Texas plains into a beautiful gorge that stretches for miles.
The pageant "Texas" is held in Palo Duro Canyon each year for two weeks during July. For a schedule of the interesting events in Texas, check with Traveltex: Event Calendar .
Electrical Engineering Although my background is electrical engineering, I have been doing technical writing for over a decade now. I have always been technically oriented, but, I'm keen on writing and graphic arts. I'm a "smith" rather than the classical craftsman.
I keep up (some of the time) through professional organizations such as the IEEE (Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers). For more, including for programmers, see IEEE Home Page. Who wants to be a programmer? Well, I now need the "tool."
From an electrical engineering standpoint, do you know about the Moray Radiant Energy device, here in Utah? There have been those who were interested in rediscovering the mechanization Thomas Henry Moray developed in the late 30s, but it was never marketed. If you are interested, e-mail me. My interest is a down-to-earth approach to Moray's surviving family to see what could be accomplished in further development and marketing.
The world is concerned about air pollution from internal combustion engines and oil/gas powered energy sources and rightly so. In my opinion the electrical energy that Moray stumbled upon is a vastly superior energy source, greater than the potential of nuclear or fusion power.
It is an energy that surrounds the earth and apparently supplied by the cosmos -- the last frontier of natural resources provided by the Creator of heaven and earth!
John, Henry Moray's son, has written a book about his Dad, The Energy On Which the Earth Floats. The book might be found in the used books section at Sam Weller Bookstores (Sam Weller Books Home Page), Salt Lake City, Utah. If you have any problems let me help you find a copy.
Do you consider it a marvel that every family on earth should some day have a computer? Then consider the marvel of every family, or every few families, having an independent 10-50 kilowatt power source to heat and light their home(s).
That same independent power source would be packaged to power electric motor driven vehicles with essentially unlimited trip duration. Power values could be in the 100s of horsepower.
The Radiant energy source cannot be fully developed, because of the various powers that be (oil, gas, and globalists interests), until Satan is chained
What marvels, wonders, and blessings are potentially ahead of us in this coming century -- this coming millennium
