  Clients:
Although emails are welcome, free phone consultations are best as they enable
us to gain a sense of each other not possible short of an interview.

Attorneys:
Attorneys have used my services for brief (2 hour) assessments validating clients'
truthfulness and bias before investing time, energy and funds. There is no
fee for a telephonic review of facts and whether or not I can be of service.

In one case, $8,000 was spent on experts before discovering the plaintiff
had a serious pathological condition unnoticed or unmentioned by
other experts. The firm's investment was lost when a short evaluation would
     have detected this.

     Recommendations:

    1. Before moving ahead on a case, I have found on numerous occasions that preliminary medical
examinations have not been performed.  For example, in a recent case in another state, I
recommend it to the neurologist that two additional tests be performed prior to my seeing the
client.  As it turned out, the tests verified physical abnormalities that supported the plaintiff's case
even prior to my seeing him.
2.Often, upon agreement and the signing of Service Forms, law firms seeking to use my services
will send medical records, sometimes by the boxful.  To be more efficient, materials should be
sent in chronological order and clipped to better organize them. This is more cost and time
         efficient.
3.In performing an Independent Medical Examination, the presence of either attorney may serve as
a distraction. Although permitted, I expect that, whether my services are for plaintiff or
defense, fact -- finding will not be permitted to be obstructed.  If this is the case, I will end the
IME and indicate in the record the obstruction posed.

Neuropsychological Screening
Neuropsychology is a specialty within psychology. Neuropsychological testing is

more targeted to brain functioning and is useful largely when damage has occurred
or suspected to have occurred. Screening determines whether the more focused
neuropsychological testing is needed. A comparison might be X-ray (general
    information versus MRI (more detailed).
