  • Finally, some more news on Mary-Kate & Ashley's Happening! Their new You're invitied video "Fashion Party" will be released on September 7, 1999! Only 2 more months!

  • The new adventures book "The Case of the Slam Dunk Mystery"'s release date will be pushed back until January 2000.

  • In just one more month, the twins will be heading on another Sail with the Stars cruise with their lucky fans! From August 23-30th, they will be cruising around Alaska!

  • The Mary-Kate & Ashley 2000 Calendar has just been released by the publisher on July 16th. Bookstores will have them in stock in about a month or two!

  • Currently, the twins are already back from Paris! No other new plans were announced, so they're probably just enjoying summer vacation until the cruise comes.

  • Sadly, ABC decided to pull Two of a Kind from its schedule even before the new season begins. This means we will no longer be seeing anymore Two of a Kind on TV anymore :( The only good thing to make up for this is that we'll be able to see the twins again this fall in "Switching Goals", "Passport to Paris", "Fashion Party", and plenty of new books headed our way! So don't worry, we'll be seeing our favorite actresses plenty of times.

  • The Olsen Twins had a chat with all their fans on June 10th. They answered many questions. Transcript will be available as soon as "geocities" is working again!

  • Currently, they are in Paris filming their new movie "Passport to Paris". They left for Paris on June 14th. They will spend 2 weeks there, then they will go to Rome for 1 week before heading back to US just in time to be at the Final Women's World Cup tournament on July 10th.

  • For their 13th Birthday, they went to see "Austin Powers: The Spy who Shagged Me" with a couple of their friends. They mostly got money this year since they were going to Paris the very next day.

  • More songs from Mary-Kate & Ashley coming soon! They will be releasing a Christmas CD this year! More info will come as it becomes available.

  • The new "New Adventures" book are called "The Case of the Green Ghost" and "The Case of the Big Sca?? Mountain Mystery". One book, "The Case of the Slam Dunk Mystery" which was supposed to come after "The Case of the Surfing Secret" might not be released at all.

  • The twins have already finished taping "Switching Goals"! They'll soon to heading off to Paris to film not 1, but 2 videos! One video is an "You're invited" party video and the other one is a direct-to-video movie (like Billboard Dad) that is called "Passport to Paris". Both will be out sometime in the year 2000. And we can look forward to "Switching Goals" on TV this fall!

  • Tons of new books are soon to come out this summer! There is the year 2000 calendar coming out this August. There is also a journal book called "My Mary-Kate & Ashley Diary, For All My Words" out this August. It has 128 pages and retails for $12.99.

  • In addition, there will be a book called "The Olsen Twins" coming out December 1999. It will probably be a scrapbook. It is 32 pages long and sells for $5.95

  • New price changes for Olsen books! Starting with the book "My Sister the Supermodel" from the Two of a Kind series, the price for each book will be raised from $3.99 to $4.25. Not too much a change, but it's news!

  • Ok, ABC was supposed to show the Olsen Twins during the TGIF programming on June 4th, but they didn't. Hopefully, they will show it this Friday. Be sure to check!

  • Happy (early) Birthday to Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen!!!! They turn 13 this Sunday (13th)! They'll finally be teenagers! Boy time sure flies! Our best wishes goes out to both of them!

  • Watch out Olsen Fans! In celebration of the twins' 13th birthday (June 13th in case you didn't know), the FOX Family channel will be running a 13 hour Olsen marathon on their birthday. It'll also mark the premiere of "Mary-Kate & Ashley's Adventures", which is probably going to be their detective videos. Here's a rundown of the show schedule (FOX Family channel is a cable channel, so check your local listings for the right channel number if you have cable):

    9-11am: Double Double Toil and Trouble
    11-1pm: How the West was Fun
    1-1:30: Mary-Kate & Ashley's Adventures
    1:30-2: Mary-Kate & Ashley's Adventures
    2-4: To Grandmother's House We Go
    4-6: Double Double Toil and Trouble
    6-8: How the West was Fun
    8-10pm: Billboard Dad

  • On June 19th, the twins will appear at the Women's World Cup Opening Ceremony at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. It will be broadcast live on ABC and ESPN (cable) in the afternoon, so be sure to tape it! For those going to see the game live, have tons of fun and don't forget your cameras!

  • Another reminder: The twins should be hosting TGIF this Friday (June 4th), so be sure to watch TGIF this week even if they're reruns!

  • Sad news. When ABC announced its Fall 1999-2000 schedule, Two of a Kind was not on the list. ABC cancelled it. The WB channel did not pick it up either as planned if ABC dropped it.

  • After all the weeks of Two of a Kind being off the air, it will return with repeats starting on May 28th at 8pm ET. Catch it while you can!

  • On June 4, the twins will be hosting TGIF with clips from their soccer training with the US Team about a month ago. Mark down this date!

  • Full House Michelle's "The Baby-Sitting Boss" is out! "The Case of the Super Camp Caper" is also out now! Next one up is "The Case of the Surfing Secret" coming in June and also don't forget "To Snoop or Not to Snoop" of the Two of a Kind series in June as well.

  • Guess the news below came a little late, but they will air repeats again during this week. Check your listings for the time and date. The good news is that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen WON the title as best TV Actresses for Two of a Kind!!!!!!! Congratulations to our favorite twins! They were able to be there live to accept the award since they were filming "Switching Goals" in Toronto, but they were able to give an acceptance speech via a satellite!

  • Don't forget to watch "1999's Kids Choice Awards" on Saturday, May 1st. It's on cable channel Nick and will air live from Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles starting at 8pm EST. Mary-Kate & Ashley were nominated for TV's Best Actress, so be sure to tune it to see if they won! There's also a possibility that they might be presenting an award as well. For those without cable, the result will be posted here shortly!

  • It's renewal season and ABC is still deciding whether to keep "Two of a Kind" because of it's falling ratings. The good news about this bad part is if ABC decides to drop the show, the WB network will mostly likely pick the show up since they're starting a pro-family programing on Fridays next fall as well!

  • Mary-Kate and Ashley are currently in Toronto, Canada to film their new ABC-TV movie, Switching Goals. They'll be there for 6 six weeks. After that, they're headed for Paris to start their new video movie, so a majority of their summer vacation will be spent working.

  • Network news! Because NBC's "Providence" drew many adult views away from the TGIF sitcoms on Fridays, ABC might consider doing more adult shows. ABC also has other worries, because "Two of a Kind" is produced by Warner Bros. Television, whose sister network, the WB, is expected to expand to Friday nights next season and would no doubt love having the show if ABC drops it. Therefore, do not worry about Two of a Kind going off the air as many rumors might have said. Even if ABC drops it, there is a very high chance the WB channel would pick the show up, just like the once ABC show "Sister, Sister" Thanks for Yoshieye for contributing this great new info!

  • Mary-Kate and Ashley are heading off to Toronto Canada next month to start filming their new movie "Switching Goals".

  • On March 29, 1999, Mary-Kate and Ashley had a special training session with Mia Hamm and other members of the Olympic Champion U.S. Women's National Team at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to prepare for their new ABC movie "Switching Goals". Clips from this event will be shown during ABC's TGIF block on June 4, leading into the June 6 kick-off of pre-Cup coverage on ABC/ESPN.

  • Since they are the teen ambassadors of this big event, Mary-Kate and Ashley will report online from April to June about the upcoming Women's World Cup. They also will host the Women's World Cup Block party July 9 in Los Angeles, one day before the final game of the tournament.

  • The opening ceremonies on the Women's World Cup is June 19 at Giants Stadium in New York and will be hosted by the twins, so if you are able to buy tickets to this event, you might get to see them!

  • One detail about their new direct-to-video movie filmed in Paris is about they twins going to visit their uncle and shop.

  • Very Exclusive News! Mary-Kate and Ashley have signed a deal to star and produce a new soccer-themed movie for ABC's "Wonderful World of Disney" next season called "Switching Goals". It is about two girls who play soccer, but only one is athletic (most likely played by Mary-Kate). They switch places when their father becomes too competitive. Sounds interesting huh?

  • The twins will also be serving as teen ambassadors of the Women's World Cup soccer tournament. This is considered the largest women's sporting event, and will be held in the US this summer. It'll be telecasted on ABC/ESPN.

  • Today, Mary-Kate and Ashley were at Walt Disney World in Florida to attend the movie premiere of "Doug's 1st Movie" along with the Lawrence Brothers of "Brotherly Love"

  • Great news! Mary-Kate and Ashley are nominated for the Best TV Actress for Nick's 1999 Kids Choice Awards. I'll let you know when the voting begins! Remember to vote!

  • They have finally finished filming the first season of "Two of a Kind" last Friday. Last episode will air in Mid-May.
