MY LIFE WAS IN FIRE
My passion was fire
These flames were extinguished,
They tried to become alive again
Only to be put out and lie in vestiges
You made me feel alive once more
From my ashes I emerge
Trembling, afraid, alone,
My heart in my hand…
My blood running fast
Sad feelings, bad memories
Emptiness surrounded me
Full moon and starry skies above me
I dream, I am alive
And life can be pleasant
Love can be mine again
Despite life itself
Tonight, at this mountaintop
Facing a winter to come
I embrace my son and you my love
With hopes of better days
Bright full moonlight
That will come into my room
While I feel the pleasure of your skin
And the warm gaze of your eyes
