*Celine has been nominated for the 29th annual People's Choice Awards for Female Performer of the Year against Faith Hill and Jennifer Lopez. It will air on January 12th on ABC. For other nominations in other categories, click here.

CLAUDETTE DION TO TOUR

*According to this MesNouvelles article, Céline's sister Claudette Dion will be going on tour soon with the show she gave in Montréal's casino recently. It will feature songs originally sung by the famous French singer Edith Piaf. Claudette has also released a live album of the show.

GERALD DE PALMAS TO WRITE FOR CELINE

*According to this article, Gérald de Palmas will be writing two songs for Céline's upcoming French album. Here is what he says about it:

Céline Dion has also made use of his talent. After having recorded "Tomber" in English ("Ten Days"), the singer from Quebec has asked him to write two songs for her upcoming French album. "Working with Céline was a real pleasure. She knows her singing technique so well, that everything seems as easy for her as having a cup of coffee. A true relaxation."
