Overall Grade: D+ (69%) It was okay, a lot of swearing, violence and a few lengthy nude scenes.

Heather's Angel Cop review

Yeah, sometime in the future the commerce in Japan is really high and the economy is doing really well... they would be capable of world power if they felt the desire to take over the world... blah blah blah.

The Special Police Force is hired to take out some terrorists. These terrorists are corrupt and they try to use Japan's power for the "wrong" reason. Angel is on the force. She shoots people. And that's that.

There are some other people out there who are after the terrorists as well. They kill the terrorists in horribly bloody and sadistic ways. And no one really cares. For some reason, they look as if they have been "burned" from the inside out (to me, they looked like a pile of spare human body parts laying around a room, hallyway, or stuck to the ceiling).

AHHH but the other people trying to take out the terrorists use their psychic powers for hte wrong thing as well, and therefore are no better than the terrorists themselves. They take out anybody and anything who is in the way of the "JUST AND INNOCENT!!!!!!!" Yeah, they are all talking through their BUTTS if you ask ME.

Anyway, a woman named Lucifer is the head honcho and she decides she must take out the Special Police Force because they are in her way of protecting the "JUST AND INNOCENT!!!!!!!!" This causes slight problems, being she is on steroids and she can destroy people with her mind. She can also cause major damage to highway overpasses. She can stick people to the underside of the bridges by imploding them. Wow.

Lots of unneeded swearing. Lots of blood and gore. Views of people's brains. There is horrid torture done to some guy who sits around in his underwear. There is nudity, and lovely and detailed at that. There is occult happenings, and a lot of boring government babble that I couldn't hear, nor would I have paid attention to if I COULD hear it... (parents... ugh. Sometimes you have to be so quiet for them it's not even humane).

Heather's ratings

Storyline

5/5 It was a lot of wonderful-happy government babble and the F word.

Character Development

5/5 La de da de da and happy gumdrops.

Plot Depth

5/5 Nice and government-ish.

Music

3/5 It SUCKED.

Sexual Content

4/5 They make innuendoes and they act retarded about it.

Nudity

3/5 Nice detail on Lucifer and that one chick with glasses. Really unneeded in BOTH scenes... Ugh.

Violence/Gore

0/5 Too much. Not that I mind it, but sometimes I like to see WHOLE people as well as the part of a person here, and there other parts over there, and maybe even some in my EYEEEEE! GRRRRRR....

Animation

5/5 Really detailed. Kind of like... unneeded detail. Really, how much shading can one PUT on one old man's face? But hey, that's a good thing.

Profanity

0/5 THERE WAS TOO MUCH!!!!! If you have ever seen the South Park movie, you know what I mean. OK, it wasn't that bad, but it was so annoying. If these people can be smart enough to figure out a complex problem such as the one of which they are faced with, then they can figure out a replacement word for F YOU!

Overall goodness

4/5 Ah, it was okay.

Totals: 34/50, it's not the best thing to ever grace the Earth, because that would be Gundam Wing.

Megan's Angel Cop Review

Isn't it all so beautiful? Lots of blood and gore!!! Okay.

There's a terrorist organization, the Red May. They like to blow up things and kill people. But ltely, the Special Police force has had a weird thing. OTHERS are killing the Red May and not the Police... Who's killing the terrorists? Not to mention that they look like they've been burned from the inside. They've also been ripped apart!! Which is shown in gory detail.

Angel is the newest member of the SSP. (Special Police stuff) So she's out there doing her job, which is killing people relentlessly. ^_^ But her partner disappears after a run-in with the Red May.

The people who are hunting down the terrorists are called "Hunters". They "protect the innocent and uphold justice". Justice, hee hee... The leader is a muscular woman named Lucifer. Asura, a punk-rock dude, and little Freya. Freya always looks like she's on fire. Asura will PUNK ROCK YOU TO DEAAATH! Okay.. But Lucifer is not as easy to kill as one would think.. aren't they always?

Megan's ratings

Storyline

4/5 Was really political. Sorta boring in the beginning.

Character Development

5/5 We all change and grow and blah blah blah.

Plot Depth

4/5 No...

Music

4/5 Was loud and obnoxious. The singing for the end song was good. But the background music.. was something to be desired.

Sexual Content

4/5 Lucifer likes to announce people's crushes on other people and rip their shirts off to "show 'em what you've got!"

Nudity

3/5 Lucifer was naked the last episde, and another lady was naked for a few seconds. Very detailed.

Violence/Gore

1/5 Blood EVERYWHERE!! People getting their heads ripped off, exploding bodies (shown in GREAT detail!) and other fun things all around. Shootings, of course,

Animation

5/5 Pretty good. Hee hee, very detail-ee clothes.

Profanity

1/5 HOLY CRAP! A total of 45 "f" words. 7 in the first episode, 7 in the second, 6 in the third, 7 in the fourth, 3 in the fifth, and 15 (!) in the sixth. Other than all the "f"s... there was plently of run-of-the-mill swearing.

Overall goodness

4/5 Less profanity. Really, all the times Angel screamed "F**K!!" Were not necessary! *F**CK AND SH*T!!" Yeah, scream it, baby. Other than that, the violence was great, Very cool stuff. Story line was too political for me, but still pretty good.

Totals: 35/50, It really IS okay, just really profane and really violent!! ^_^()!!

TOTALS PUT TOGETHER: 34.5/50.

Comments: Angel Cop isn't really RECOMMENDED for anybody, but if you're still really interested in purchasing it or just borrowing it from someone, then you should be tolerant of violence and profanity. There's way too much in our opinion, and it's hard to watch/listen to after awhile. You should also enjoy politics and police-type stories, because it's all based upon Tokyo's unfair law system.
