Burn up is another one of those action-packed cop shows. This time, the force is pretty much all female. Well, there ARE guys, but they don't play as important a role as the girls do. Anyway, there have been a few kidnappings going on lately, and the McCoy family is suspected of it. The girls chase down the McCoys, but they get away. So off they go to find some clues.
The clues must be at the dance club! Or at least, that's what all of the girls (Maki, Reimi, and Yuko) think. While there, Yuko tries talking to a girl who is sitting by herself. While trying to comfort her, a man comes up and knocks Yuko out. She is taken to the McCoy place.
The cops are rather ignorant when they find out of Yuko's dissapearance. So off Maki and Reimi go to find her. That's the rest of the movie for ya...
The things to watch out for- Swearing, including the WORST WORD OF ALL! (sarcastic gasp- mother f*cker!). And there is nudity, detailed, during a really pointless scene where people are putting makeup on this girls boobs for some reason... and there's a shower scene, but nothing except a butty-crack gets shown. There's obviously violence, gore, and lots of blood and explosions... shooting and guns... and all that wonderful stuff.
4/5 Not always that.... clear...
5/5 Yay! Characters are distinctive...
4/5 Not deep. Oh well. We can't ALL be that way, now can we?
5/5 Very good. That classic 80's beat! Rock on Degrassi!
4/5 Implied sex scene, and people being whipped while in undies. S & M... yay... (sarcasm)
4/5 There's the weird scene of that chick putting makeup on that other chicks boobs?!
3/5 Lotsa explosions, blood, gore.... yadda yadda yadda!
5/5 Nice animation for the 80's... GO JOEY JEREMIAH!
3/5 Lots of swearing and stuff, and they say VERY BAD WORDS!! NOOOOOOO!
5/5 It was nice and good. Not a favorite, but good.
Totals: 42/50 I liked it when people were DRESSED.
BURN UP MY HEART!.. uh, yeah.
Burn Up is a really.. pointless show about three police wmone. Maki, Reimi, and Yuka. Yuka is a little ditz, Maki's the "bad babe", and Reimi is the quiet one who gets set off over CERTAIN things. Well, they are apprehending criminals as usual, and they find out about this nutso guy who kidnaps little girls and makes them his slaves. I DO NOT want to know what he does with them. Well, the girls go to a club to find clues, and Yuka, of course, gets kidnapped. She gets all beaten and stuff. Reimi and Maki come to save her and all that wonderful junk!
4/5 WHAT storyline? Two random events that JUST SO happened to be related!
5/5 Yeah, lots of that goody junk.
4/5 Deep? PSHAW!
5/5 BURN UP MY HEART! And engulf it in flames until I die! kay, the burn up my heart was true enough...
4/5 They are ABOUT to..
4/5 Fan Service!
3/5 Lots of gory blood and guts and bullets.
5/5 Yay and stuff
3/5 No.. HAVE A LEAD ENEMA, YOU BASTARD!! YOU STUPID MOTHER.. Use your imagination and put your own words in!
4/5 Okay, but could have been better.
Totals: 41/50, or eh.. I think it could have been better.
TOTALS PUT TOGETHER: 41.5/50. We both sorta liked it...

Burn Up is an action-packed show full of unneeded nudey scenes and weird scandals. It's most likely to be enjoyed by the fanboys out there, and you should enjoy: mecha, cop-like things, action, a little bit of science fiction, and a short, sweet story.
