Queen Emeraldas was a quite good movie. The only problem I had with it was the fact that you have to see Arcadia of my Youth before this one or Galaxy Express 999 to understand some of the finer details. Emeraldas is really cool looking. She has some of the longest anime hair I have ever seen, a scar on her face, a cool gun-thingy, a ship built just for her, and an old "friend" who is one of the best space pirates in the wide and cast space frontier (but NO ONE can compete with the ever-rambunctious crew of the Starlight (Odin: Space Sailor Starlight, hahahaha).
Emeraldas is also a cool (cool as in cold, and she appears to be rather unfeeling) person, with a deep sense of love hidden way down inside of her. She also tells you that she is Emeraldas all of the time. At the beginning of the tape, in the middle of the tape, and at the end of the tape.

Emeraldas, Emeraldas, the road I travel is red. My name is based off of a emerald, a green jewel.. SILENT SONG!! Ok, so those are a few words... or is Silent Song from 999? Ah, heck, who cares. Emeraldas is a space pirate.. no not Ryoko.. stop slobbering on the keyboard, you hentai.. yuck.. So she travels in space. She finds young boys who want to be all tough after they serve drinks. They beat up mean old poops who want to shoot other people. He was hit once, while he hit the kid like 700 times!! So Emeraldas saves the little brat and he's all happy.. but not grateful. I SAID, she saves the little brat! She saves his butt throughout the entire thing! And not once does the brat thank her! Well, not that I can remember, so maybe he does. He fires her weapon without permission! But.. the little brat grows up. Now he's a big brat.
