Overall Grade: A (91%) Very Good, was minimally violent, a but of swearing and implied sexual content. Oh, and a teensy bit of nudity.

Heather's Laughing Target review

I liked the scary effect that was added to this story. It was made by the all woderful Rumiko Takahashi, and everyone has to like her. She made Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, One Pound Gosphel, Mermaids Scar, Mermaids Forest, the Supergal... and she never fails to create a good story.

This story involves a love triangle and lots of ghosts. It is about a young girl, Azusa and her cousin, Yuzuru, who were engaged to marry at a young age. (eeeeewwww.) However, when Azusa's mother died, she was sent to live with her aunt, farther away from where Yuzuru lived. So time passed on and Yuzuru started dating another girl. Now, as he is used to his normal life and has forgotten about his past engagement, Azusa moves in with his family. Her aunt died, and she has no one left to stay with anymore. She still remembers the promise she and Yuzuru made when they were younger, and takes it very seriously. Once she finds out that he now has a nice girlfriend, the horror begins.

There is nudity in a shower scene, but it's not very detailed. It's a short scene anyway. There is a lot of violence and spiritual stuff too. There is an attempted rape scene, but no other sexual stuff. There is a little bit of your dose of swearing, but not so much to be offended by.

Megan's Laughing Target Review

This is from the elusive Rumik World.. the fast disappearing movie line!

A psychological horror flick and a good one at that! Azusa is just a nutcase! You always gotta watch out for those silent types with ghosts following them. Especially if they squeak!!! So she's just arunning amok and Yuzuru's girlfriend is kinda... gonna be sorry because Azusa will have her Yuzuru!!!

Okay, it starts out with Azusa, and she is coming to live with her fiancee, Yuzuru. They haven't seen each other for ten years. When they were about six years old, their parents arranged for them to be married, even though they were cousins. Azusa has kept her promise faithfully, never had a boyfriend, never even THOUGHT about another guy. Yuzuru, on the other hand, hasn't. He has a girlfriend now, Satomi. Azusa isn't happy about this arrangement. Besides, terrible things happened to her when she was young, and now she has almost no control over it. But she does some pretty weird things.
