Overall Grade: A- (92%) Wonderful and stuff. There was no nudity and there was some boy-boy stuff (yaoi), but it was only a kiss. There were lots of INNUENDOS with those two, but that is that. There was planty of male-female love too. Never you worry. Lots of swearing in the dubbed, almost none in the subbed.

Heather's Please Save My Earth Review

Please Save My Earth is a drama/suspense movie about seven scientists- Mokuren, Shion, Shukaido, Hiiragi, Gyokuran, Enju, and Shusuran- who once inhabited the moon. Supposedly, they were the last beings that survived an intergalactic war. They became stranded on the moon, so they wanted to do studies on their new home, and gather data on the Earth. Sometime in the future, seven people on the Earth start having dreams of the scientists. They dream, very realistically, that everyone on the moon is known as someone else on the Earth. When a couple of these people meet up, they decide to try to find the rest of the dreamers.

If they find these dreamers, then maybe they can compare their dreams, and find out what happened to these strage people on the moon. Did they actually exist? If they did, why are they dreaming of them now? Does it somehow connect in their present life? And why do some people have ESP? Hmmm....

There is NO NUDITY! YAY! Actually, there is one little thing at the end, which looks naked. But she has such long hair that it doesn't even matter. She looks like Lady Godiva. ^_- There are swearwords, although they are WAY more plentiful in the dubbed version than they are in the subbed! There is violence and blood, so that's always goo (goo = good ^_-). However, it does deal with some sexual things, so... it's probably for older peoples. There's YAOI ahead, so be warned. Uh... tha's -for all you uneducated people- when two guys like each other. Ok, so maybe it was one-sided, but they KISSED!! HEHEHEHE!

Heather's ratings

Storyline

5/5 Unique, interesting, and good.

Character Development

5/5 Very well done on most. But then, the others really didn't have anything to do with the outcome of the story.

Plot Depth

5/5 Nice and deep.

Music

5/5 Very pretty. For the most part, it was little piano solos here and there, but there was also some gothic stuff. Which was sweet.... -_-() The ending song was really pretty- that's why we have the midi for you to listen to...silly!

Sexual Content

4/5 They mention things like that a couple of times, but nothing actually ever comes of it. Oh yeah, and two guys kiss.

Nudity

5/5 None! Well, there was that scene at the very end, but I think that doesn't count. She was all covered up, and it was so quick, I can't even be sure she WAS naked.

Violence/Gore

3/5 Blood, and bone-breaking galore. People try to kill themselves, people almost get drowned while inside of a psychic bubble... cool.

Animation

5/5 It was really good! Very detailed and a unique character design!

Profanity

4/5 Swearing, mentioning of "virgin," blah blah blah. Also, there is more profanity in the dubbed than in the subbed.

Overall goodness

5/5 Very good! I really enjoyed it, although I think that this is more of a girls' show. It centers around love and stuff too much for most guys to enjoy it.

Totals: 46/50 It was really good, but the ending (Kyaa) was really... weird. I think the creator smoked some pot and then made the remainder of the series.... ^_^ Just kidding. Don't get all poo-ee on me.

Megan's Please Save My Earth Review

Please Save My Earth. . . by Viz Video. Sorry, but I just HAD to put that in there. Anyway, Please Save My Earth (by Viz Video) was a really good movie about seven people who dream about seven scientists who were on the moon, studying the Earth. Each person has a specific character in the dreams that they see from that character's viewpoint. It's pretty cool. So it's like a play; each character was somoeone else. The seven scientists are as such: Mokuren (female), Shion (male), Shukaido (male), Hiiragi (male), Gyokuran (male), Enju (female), and Shusuran (female). These seven people were YES! Studying the Earth. Wyhy? Only they know. Well, you do as well once you've SEEN it. . . but oh well.

It starts as two guys are overheard by a girl named Alice, talking about "last night". She got caught, of course, and later, they stop her on the street and take her and her neighbor Rin out for coffee. The boys are Jinpachi and Issei; the first words out of their mouths are "We're not gay!" They explain what they were really talking about. They share dreams, and it's a really odd thing.

Alice ends up taking Rin to the zoo a few times. Animals always gather around her. She thinks it's weird. She can sense what plants and animals are feeeeeeling.

Well, all in good fun. The few people that you meet in the beginning that have dreams set out to search for the rest. They discover more and more things about not only themselves, but about the scientists. Apparently, reincarnation has something to do with it. Well, things to be warned about. There's some boy-boy contact here. Personally, I thought it was really cute. For those who do not like YAOI should either fast-forward through it (not much happens anyway), or they should not watch it at all. No nudity, some swearing (nothing too bad), and a tiny bitty bit of nudity that I didn't even remember until Heather reminded me. As you can see, that part was not memorable. ^_-

Megan's ratings

Storyline

5/5 Twas very intersting and GOO, says I.

Character Development

5/5 Pretty good on the main characters, but then there were some (Daisuke? Sakura?) That we didn't know much about, except Sakura was intersted in Enju and Gyokuran's relationship; in both past and present.

Plot Depth

5/5 Was nice and deep-ee like.

Music

5/5 Really soft and pretty. . . except during battle scenes. Then it was loud and pretty.

Sexual Content

4/5 There was a kiss (between two of the boys), Rin accused Alice of not being a virgin (for weird reasons of his own), and other things. But no nudity, so no sex-ee crap.

Nudity

5/5 Nothing much, all stratigically placed HAIR, and boy, has she got a lot of it.

Violence/Gore

3/5 I don't remember a whole lot of really GORY violence, but there was some blood.

Animation

5/5 Most excellant-ay, dudes and dudettes.

Profanity

4/5 Damn and bitch. NOOOOO! NEVER! Hell too!

Overall goodness

5/5 It was really good and deep. I like to think about funny people living on the moon, watching me.

Totals: 46/50, or quite good.

TOTALS (both reviews coined together) 46/50.It was realll excellant-ay dude!

Just one comment: We reccommend this subbed over dubbed, and we usually have no preference. This time, the voices just didn't match, and they changed the dialogue too much.

**We rented this tape, unedited, subtitled (and dubbed- it was on DVD) and professionally done. ***
