Dear Friends,
It's with a heavy heart that I write you tonight about my grandmother, Ma Ruth.  She passed away early this morning in the hospital.  Somewhere along the way she contracted a staph infection that went to the blood stream and got the best of her.  She was afterall 98 years "young".
I hope you'll say a little prayer for my family during this time of sorrow.  We were truly blessed to have her all those years she cared for and loved us.  She will be missed...
Love,
Sherry Handfinger
Editor's Note:  Ma Ruth's mother was a Peed and related to me on my maternal side.  -AVD

Dorothy Foster Law
We're sad to report that our mother, Dorothy Foster Law, passed away during supper at the Presbyterian Home in Lexington, SC on Saturday, May 26, 2007.   It apparently happened very quickly, and we're very grateful for that.   Also, she was in good health and spirits up until the end, which is also wonderful.  She would have been 88 in June.   Daddy, William P. Law, Jr. was with her, and is doing well.   He is almost 90.
We decided to go through her email addressbook, and send this message to everybody who's not obviously a Foster or a Law (since they'll find out in other ways).   We apologize if you get this more than once, or if you didn't need the notice.
The memorial service has not yet been arranged, but I'll be happy to keep any of you posted if you reply to this and ask for notification.
