·        Working as a Technical Consultant, involved in design and optimization consultancy work in turbo machinery and aerospace field.

·        Company customers working with: Bharat Heavy Electricals Pvt. Ltd. (Hyderabad R&D Centre and R. C. Puram), Mather & Platt Pumps (P) Ltd, Gas Turbine Research Establishment (G.T.R.E.), etc.

 

1st Project:

·        Worked with BHEL Hyderabad R&D centre at Turbo machinery Laboratory for integration and optimization of turbo machinery software SLEQ10 (being used for steam turbine design) with iSIGHT to optimize the design in order to maximize overall efficiency.

·        Developed scripts to integrate SLEQ10 with iSIGHT.

·        Carried out design optimization to reduce the number of stages of steam turbine while maintaining efficiency and power output same (References avail upon request)

2nd Project:

·        Carried out project with Mather & Platt Pumps for multi-stage radial pump CFD analysis with use of multi block PBCFD code. (References avail upon request).

3rd Project:  

·        Designed Centrifugal compressor (Impeller + Cascade Diffuser + Axial Diffuser) for 3.6 pressure ratio with use of Mean line design and analysis code (COMPAL) for Gas Turbine Research Establishment (G. T. R. E.).

·        Designed and analyzed 3D compressor full stage geometry (multi block) with use of 3D design code AxCent and multi block CFD code (PBCFD). (References avail upon request)

4th Project:  

·        Designed and analyzed high pressure axial flow fan (single stage 1.7 pressure ratio) with use of mean line design and analysis code (AXIAL) for Gas Turbine Research Establishment (G. T. R. E.).

·              Designed and analyzed 3D compressor full stage geometry (multi block) with use of 3D design code AxCent and multi block CFD code (PBCFD). (References avail upon request).

5th Project:

·        Currently working on project with Mather & Platt Pumps (P) Ltd. for full 3D CFD analysis of two stage vertical mixed flow pump. (References avail upon request).

·        Delivered lecture on ConceptsNREC software for turbo machinery design at Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd (BHEL Hyderabad & Bhopal), and VSSC.

·        Selected as a Project Trainee for masters dissertation work at National Aerospace Laboratories in June 2004.

·        Held 3rd rank in a crane modeling competition at Techfest-2004, IIT Bombays Annual Technical and Science festival in February 2004.
