Just wondering if anyone else was trying to get 'out' of the barrens
yet. And if anyone has tried and died trying, does your game crash
everytime you try to load to that spot. I tried re-installing but
still have that problem. Any ideas?

just thought that you may want to know that SKELETONS WILL FREEZE!
its fun to watch them turn to ice and crumple into small shards that
vaporise instantly. the commander and other outsiders will lock the
game up. same with fire......... "tuko"

I can't wait to get at that point. Sounds interesting. I just got
the game two weeks ago having a great time. You guys helped a lot.

Hi! Well done - I haven't been able to find a single rock out there,
but you can guarrantee I will be trying!!! Have you found any
weepers, skeletons or rats out there yet? Weapons? How about crates?
I'm just
curious as people seem to be finding lots of different things out
there. By now Venus probably thinks we've all got Rocks in our

Hi Red and all you Hard Mode Warriors out there. Now I know why so
many of you have decided to sit this one out! Schedule me for an
electrocardiogram! Hard Mode is.....well it's hard. Later when I
went up into the lighthouse I discovered when I came down I could
shoot the skeletons to the east pretty easily from up there. Anyone
who said this is a game to play once hasn't played the game! This is
such a fight. I wonder how bad those tree things will be in Swamp?

What a great idea, Ancient One! Sort of a Proto Help Page, to alert
new players to the pitfalls they can avoid--thereby attempting to
reduce their frustration in playing the game and thus increase their
enjoyment of it. Congratulations on, and thanks for, having posted

Did you find the little bell that went on the end of my hat? While
in URG, I lost it in the lodestone room. MY SHOES, you didn't
mention my shoes, you know the ones with the curled up toes. They
are very roomy for running up and down those endless hallways!! We

What a fine suit of armer I have but no one to show it to. No
Knighthood bestowed, even after being beaten, stabbed, burnt,
frozen, drived nuts solving puzzles, even dieing countless
times...Ah, but what a GREAT game. I am starting over in "hard Mode"

Hey Guys You are going to need rocks in the next realm, so you might
as well go back to DOD and get the rocks. This way you won't have to
go looking for them in the next realm, it's a good idea to take the
rocks with you. bmcper

Bmcper, Don't you like a challenge? If in some realm you need rocks,
you can find all the rocks you need in that realm. Even in gnomish
realm, I NEVER took rocks with me and I completed the game anyway!
Sure, sometimes you had to look around to find all rocks you needed,
but that's just what makes it interesting! So if you want a
challenge, don't go back for any rocks and don't take any with you,
if you need them, you will find them without having to switch
realms. copyman

I'am with you copyman! I never wanted to take the time to go back
and get rocks! I figured there had to be rocks in each realm if the
puzzle required one. (And there were) it was more challenging and

Gee, if I remember correctly, this was advice given by several

Nah! Myself have always said find rocks - the hardest one to explain
is the DoD one that most players have trouble locating. Imagine my
fun carrying 19 rocks around DoD to the End!!, Red

ok, i was wondering does everybody here when they talk about MOE.
and they talk do you say (M) (O) (E) each letter separate. or do you
say (MOE) just ono word like the name Moe. I was just thinking about

Hi wane's world Pay no attention to Tuko and I you'd die knowing
some of the things we've done to this game. Keep going you are doing
fine. Then when you finish come back and ask us 2 some of the things
