Probably best known for her role of Supreme Commander Servalan in the cult sci-fi television series Blake's Seven.
Appeared in two Hammer Horror films - The Reptile and The Plague of Zombies.
Other television includes The Avengers, Doctor Who, Danger Man, Callan, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and Special Branch.
Also appeared in two brilliant children's television series playing the villain in both. In the ghostly Moondial she played Miss Vole and in the sci-fi series The Dark Season she played Miss Pendragon. The Dark Season is also notable for the appearance of a young actress going by the name of Kate Winslet!
