Michiru Kaioh

1)  How did you begin your career/hobby as a voice actor?

I had been very interested by the first few productions that I saw, Mark
Sprague's SM dub and Rolando Fuentes's Stars dub.  Shortly after
discovering them the very first Sailormoon radio play was created and
that is when I took the opportunity to audition.

2)  How long have you been acting and/or voice acting?

I'm not entirely certain, actually. Since the first of our radio plays.
^_^;

3)  What roles are you currently acting in, or getting parts in,
including North American voice acting?

The role I have the main interest in is Sailorneptune/Kaioh Michiru, but
I also tend to voice characters such as Ibuki Maya, Sailor Aluminum
Siren, and Luna.

4)  Have you undergone any sort of training for acting, voice acting or
singing?

I have undergone training in singing and will more than likely be
receiving acting and/or voice acting training sometime in the future.

5)  What do you find most difficult about voice acting?

Putting together all of the necessary elements such as the perfect sound
to the character's voice, expression, and timing.

6)  How do you feel about the lack of recognition given to voice actors
in North America, while anime actors are equivilant to Hollywood super
stars?

It is a shame, though I haven't really thought about it.

7)  What has been yout favorite voice acting role?

Sailorneptune/Kaioh Michiru. ^_^

8)  Do you have any roles models?  If so, why?

Vanessa-Mae is my main idol, but as far as voice acting is concerned,
Katsuki Masako.

9)  Are there any roles that you haven’t got but would really enjoy
playing?

Asuka from EVA could be fun. ^_^

10)  What do you most enjoy about voice acting and/or acting in general?

I find the entire idea of it enjoyable. Experimenting with one's voice
is fun and I love seeing my favourite characters with my voice. ^_^

11)  Do you have any advice for aspiring actors?

Make the character yours by being original. ^_^
