Archery elk hunts are available in New Mexico from September 1 through September 20.  Hunts will be conducted in three parts during this time.   Each hunt being six days in duration.  Hunting is at its best during this time.  The "RUT" is beginning in the first part of the season and is usually in full swing after the 10th of September.  Hunts are available 2 hunters per 1 guide, unless other arrangements are made.  Bugling bulls can be heard throughout the season during archery season.  If you love the sweet sound of the infamous Wapiti then this hunt is for you.  Several 300"-350" bulls are extremely vulnerable during this time of year.  Each hunt will have a maximum of 4 hunters, to assure you the personal service you need.  A combination elk/deer hunt is possible during any hunt.  Deer tags can be purchased over the counter upon arrival.
