Cries of happiness fill the air
As we greet one another full of cheer
"I'ts good to see you, It's been so long"
Words of love are spoken amongst the throng
Friends are forever, we all agree
I'ts only when we are together we can see
That from the tiny seeds of tenderness shown
How strong and firm our friendship has grown
Beauty and the Beast is more than a show
I'ts become a way of life, the way to go
Conventions bring together so many souls
All aiming and reaching for the same goals
Catching up on all the latest news
Excitedly we all share our views
I'ts so much fun to share our dream
At fancy dress parties, with connecting themes
It has been so good to meet and play
But laughter and song soon fade away
And now convention time has reached an end
To you all forever my love I send
