Lincoln County Obituary Index
This is a work in progress. This index begins (for the most part) when Lincoln City
was formed in 1965 and I'm working forward from there. Later, I'll go back to the beginning of
the county in 1893.
The first newspaper located was dated Feb 25, 1965, which was for the city of Delake,
Oregon, and was volume 38 number 45. Then it skips to Lincoln City with a volume of #39, number
2 dated April 29, 1965.
Entries with the letter "G" at the end of the date represents the News Guard in
Lincoln City and the letters "NT" represents Newport's News Times. I have also started
to index the early 1900s Lincoln County paper, The Lincoln Leader, and it is
designated with the letter "L".
