Backyard Astronomer Index

There is still not a night that I don't look up at the stars with wonder. I have not gazed into the heavens since looking through my Tasco telescope many years before. Knowing this, my daughter surprised me this Christmas with a Celestron 114 telescope. At 49 years of age I have turned to the stars once again.

I am located at Lat: 42N and Lon: 17W. I have been out every night I could since Christmas and I am enjoying every minute.

I have already observed Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon, the Pleiades, the M42 Orion Nebula and the M35 star cluster (it took me forever to find it, but I did !) and I'm on the hunt !

And as always,

Clear Skies To You !
