This is actually the first time I drew him with one of his two trusty guns,
hopefully the CG will work out alright. I totally suck at drawing
guns >_<
I thought it was fun to show this sketch and the mistake I ALWAYS make when drawing Kichiro:
I draw his eyes way too big (he looks like an owl suffering from insomnia)
...which I then always have to correct when making the CG.
The CG is ready and looking good (a lot better than this anyway)

He's one of my favourite Shinra people ^_^ and high on my 'to do' list.
I love his laid back attitute in the game as well as his arrogance in the Advent Children
movie.

(Of course, the fact that Dyre is looking like he has yesterday's lunch stuck somewhere

I need to change Dyre's outfit in something with a high collar to give him a bit more class..or
something.
The fur coat needs to be more...poofy as well.
I also know Ryu looks different, but that's just my changed style in drawing.

But this drawing is pretty detailed (for me anyways) and a lot of the detail is lost when I
resize it to a smaller image.
2007 starts out pretty weird with this no?
I mean, normally I draw close-ups of pretty guys...this is a full body of a woman!
In my defence...I made this one for my best friend IGWT, who deserves a pretty woman every
now and then ^_~

(final version)
I wasn't happy with the initial design I did for Itai.
True, I wanted his apprearance to reflect his name, but I also wanted him to be a Ninja.
So I re-did him (lol) and hopefully I made him into a bit more interesting character.
He's Marion's right hand (no Lee! not like that!) and he'll follow his orders without question.
To make his design a bit more interesting I'll give him two differently coloured eyes.
As for his personality; he's no sweetie, but that should be obvious.
And maybe Kane will like him a bit more than he finds comfortable...?
We'll see ^_^

Pretty Mr. Marion here is Dyre's counterpart.
He's his enemy, his rival, his equal.
I really can't tell more about him without moving ahead of myself, but I can tell you that
besides being the 'bad guy', he's rather mischievous and playful.
But don't get him wrong, he's no kitty ^_~

I wanted the last member of Raptor to be the complete opposite of Itai, and I wanted him to
be very feminine. So feminine even that you'd have to look twice to determine wether he's male or female ^_^

Character Design/Study
I wanted to create a character whose appearance immediately reflects his name.
(But I'm not sure if I really want that character to look like a porcupine in heat.)
Don't let him, nor his looks fool you, he's one nasty piece of work.
I think I more or less succeeded in my quest to give this character small,
emotionless eyes (do I ever draw any other eyes?) that emphasize
his ruthless nature, but the hair is where my problem lies.
I like it and I don't like it; it's a curse!

Kiba is taken from an example in the Wolf's Rain art book, the wolf is my own design.
I like drawing Kiba. He's fun to draw because of his wild hair and his wonderful expressive
eyes.

Hyuuga Neji - Naruto
I love his character, he really is an asshole, but you can't help like him anyway.
It took me a long time to finish this, and I had to clean up the sketch a little in photoshop because of
that. Paw smears all over the place ^_~
I was totally stuck after drawing his face and hair and I had no idea how to draw his arms or what pose
to give him. Sometimes that happens. Usually when I start a drawing I kind of have the finished picture in my head. With this
one, it was a perfect blank. So finally I came up with this, not so characteristic one. Hopefully it is interesting
enough after the CG is done.

There's something about him that makes him not Toushiro, but I can't really see where I go
wrong.
Any suggestions?

So recently I started drawing/doodling this, and while I was sketching the face I discovered
I was drawing Dyre again. But this time he did not look at all like the casual image I drew of him earlier and I started thinking
about who this character of mine was or perhaps should become.
Being heavily influenced by the Buck-Tick music at the moment and with their latest album being
pretty gothic, I quickly fell into that not so very creative nor original theme of vampires or vampire hunters. I'm sorry,
I'm hopeless >_< I wanted to show his dark side, or maybe show what he does during the times he's not wearing his happy
white pirate shirt.
So, if you want to intimidate you need two things; you need to look it AND you have to do something
that's daunting. Now what could be more intimidating than holding a freshly caught heart in your hands? Meh! I guess everyone
has a dark side, Dyres dark side is just a little more scary

This is a sketch I did in between commissions. I just finished two and needed
a little break. This is the love child of that break ^_^
I know he looks a bit like Lucifer, hair, tattoo, mouth...but that's because
Lucifer was based on Sakurai too!! *lol*
I promise I'll be a little more creative next time ^^ Promise ^_~

Another original character, sort of.
I shamelessly copied the bright eyes of Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, Advent Children. I also copied the
ribbon around his arm, just because I think it looks totally cool ^_^
In the CG version I added a dragon tattoo on his upper arm, not only just to justify his name but also because
he needed something.
The perspective is kind of wonky, but it seems people only notice it after I tell them ^_~

Lucifer !!
My first real original character!
Well...not THAT original, but you know what I mean. ^_~
He was highly influenced by Atsushi Sakurai; the vocalist of Buck-Tick.
You know; the black fingernails, the hair (in a way), the rings etc.
Even the blood on his hand is an idea I got after seeing the Romance music clip.

A sketch I had trouble with making.
It looks like a simple enough image but it turned out I had trouble with the angle of the face...go figure

People told me how they liked it I drew him "all grown up" but it is actually taken from a black & white
screencap from the OP of Gunlock.
Granted, I like my bishies looking sexy, so there was no way Goku would not get that smirk too ^_^
Took me an entire (!) day to make...sheesh

Dark - D.N.Angel
I have never seen DN Angel.
I'm not a really big fan of the anime style, but I love the style of the creator Yukiru Sugisaki and I copied
his (from what I assume) very well know Hanken image.
Took me about two evenings to complete.
Fun to make because of the huge eyes.

Vincent Valentine - Final Fantasy VII
He's probably my favourite FFVII character. I've been wanting to draw him for such a long time and
can't believe I finally did. I never thought I would be able to however, because original art work is scarce and I did not
want to copy someone else's doujinshi image.
So here he is. Made without much reference other than the images in my head and that wonderful movie Advent
Children. Dirge of Cerberus was a big help too ^_^
I know the gun is completely off, and the hand not in perspective nor realistic but I'm hoping the CG art
makes up for it.

Ban & Ginji - Get Backers
I haven't posted this one here yet, simply because I have no idea what to do with it.
Colour it you say? yeah, I would if it wasn't for the fact that I do not know how I should colour their
bodies seeing that they are not fully finished.
So I need to blur...if you know what I mean... >_<
Add to that the other fact I made Ginji's head too small...plus made him look like an adorable cutesy girl...and
it will all inevitably end up I will most likely discard this image completely.
Ugh...maybe I'll eventually have a bright moment and actually figure it out....untill then...doi! sorry..
