I loved it. I laughed; I cried. One of the best I've seen. Thank heaven for "detail" persons with a sense of fun!

I am a Ph.D student at Boston College studying disability policy in higher education. I am looking forward to attending the conference next month. I am impressed with some list of speakers tenatively scheduled, and I hope we can meet at the conference. I am alone inn studying my topic at BC, so it is doubly important for me to cultivate professional peers with similar interests on other campuses. I would be curious to know more about your disability studies program--for a number of reasons it strikes me as an extremely difficult undertaking, particularly at a public college. Who knows...programs such as yours might be an interesting dissertation topic a year or two down the line.

Wonderful! You are a wizard! So why does society continue thinking that pwds [People with Disabilities] are "incapable, public-sucking pests?" (Too harsh?)

Barbara - I am so impressed! Of course, I came here as a result of your (terrrific) message to SDS Board [Society for Disability Studies; message proposing the establishment of a web site for SDS]; and I am very grateful for the service you have already provided SDS on your own site. I'll respond to your suggestions in a note to you & others on the Board, but this is just to say "Congrats" on your personal site, and thanks. Sincerely, Corinne

Hi Barbara... Looks like you're a pretty involved person when it comes to activism... Not to mention other stuff. Enough to make a couch potato like yours truly feel pretty useless. :) Anyways, thanks for dropping by my site, I hope you liked your visit. Do drop by again. Absy over and out.

Hello Barbara.
Nice webpage, I must say! I especially must look at that link you have to the internet myths. I tend to fall for them, and at least a couple are VERY familiar. Oh well.
See you later.

I like your home page. I am also disabled and run the NewNet IRC channel, #Disabled. Stop by the channel, or my web site!To respond, take the asterisk (*) out of my e-mail address... this is an anti-SPAM measure.

I have just begun to look through your web site. It looks very interesting and I hope to find a wealth of information in it. I am currently working on a masters degree in severe and profound disabilities. I currently teach this population and find it quite rewarding. I am always looking for up to date information on communication and motor skills. Many thanks for your devotion to persons with disabilities!

Your site is right on target.

Being a man with no excuse for being this way for 6+ years (As others see me) I get judge allot even at home by my wife. Last thing I expected.

I look OK. Im full of excuses why I cant do or go. Noone believes that exposures caused it or pretend they do. My job history and an immune assay pointed in that direction. Intangiable dilemma. The chemical companies got us good. They're so clever.

Is it a coincidence that some of the largest manufactures of pesticides which can cause the symptoms, are ALSO the corporate relatives of the Pharmaceutical companies that make the drugs to *CURE* those same ailments? A web site had this comment in it.

Im glad you are doing something good, and are there to "e". I dont do much "e"ing but this area is my life now. Who chose us for this? No doubt who. Im lacking horsepower but trying.

I enjoyed your 10-25-94 memo very much, Actually liked everything and have bookmarked everything.

Talk to you later
