The initial Washington Senators team (1901-1960) was moved from Washington DC to Minneapolis Minnesota and renamed the Twins. The next year (1961) an expansion team, the Washington Senators, was created to replace the old relocated team. This second DC franchise lasted thru 1971, when it was relocated to Arlington Texas and renamed the Texas Rangers.


No catchers were born in Washington DC and played for the Senators II
